Service is always great and the food fresh and hot. They do need to upgrade the chairs. The chairs are not comfortable and really hard. I had a steak (ordered medium rare and got medium well :(...) with Loaded Mash, green beans, and hashbrown casserole! Food was still good even with the over cooked steak!
I can't believe I have heard this restaurant so many times from my friends for years and never get to try. The food is delish and prices are extremely cheap. Their Roast Beef was super soft and the gravy on top adds more flavor to it . I heard that their chicken and Dumpling dish is super popular but I didn't care much ,to me it was missing flavors big time. Atmosphere of this restaurant is cool , the little board game they put on every table is fun , I even purchased one for my kids . I would definitely visit this restaurant again .
My mother-in law took me and my wife here with some other members of our family. I must say it was nice experience. From the shop when you go inside, to the food and the friendly staff. We went there for breakfast and I must say the pancakes were delicious. I recommend trying it out if you have a Cracker Barrel near you.
I ordered the grilled chicken tenders meal. The grilled chicken tenders tasted awesome, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese were great also.
The food was good as was the service. The floor was sticky and the noise level was quite high due to so many hard surfaces with nothing to absorb sounds. We used gift cards to pay, but for some reason one of the cards kept getting refused. Finally a manager was able to get it to work, but it took a long time
Went for lunch on a weekday. Long wait bc no clean tables. Long wait before approached for drink order. Ordered biscuits, corn bread brought with food over 40min later. I have ordered the ham here a dozen times. I got one that had been cut in half! I asked if it was a lunch special aka smaller portion and was told it’d always been that small…ummm no…$12 for what I got. And the fries were cold. Terrible.
The staff here is very welcoming and the food is delicious. I surely recommend you to dine here!
Service was terrible. We waited almost a hour and our food still was not ready. Overheard the manager telling someone else ( who was also complaining about the service ) that they didn’t have enough dishes. That we had to wait until dishes got clean before we get food. Seriously.. never go back to this Cracker Barrel again. I don’t recommend anyone to go there. We ended up walking out.. ridiculous ???

The waitress was slow, forgetful. We asked for hot chocolate and got coffee with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. When we said something about the test, she said “that’s how we make it,” but she did take it off the ticket. A tall, gentleman wearing a blue shirt gave us an attitude when we said there was a toy in a five dollar bin, then said it didn’t belong there and there were multiple in there. The food was good tho, but the service and workers were bad.
