Can't go wrong with the Big Buford dbl. cheeseburger. Their fries are seasoned & they have loaded options as well.

Just about my favorite fries and burgers. Had to downgrade the rating. The fries are cooked in the same oil as the funnel cakes and taste like funnel cake. Such a same....
Stopped at this place Monday to grab a bite to eat. If you know Joliet it is pretty much a food desert and places close relatively early. Figured I’d grab the deep sea double meal since I was already used to eating it. I asked what comes on it and I was told cheese, tartar sauce, lettuce and tomato. I asked for only lettuce onion and pickles and for lettuce, tomato and pickles. I couldn’t believe how caky the deep sea patty was and add the bread on top of it and it’s even worse. Fries were just ok. The cashier was nice but was in her phone too much, maybe that’s how they missed my onions. No worries checkers is permanently off my list of fast food places.
I had a coupon for free checker burger. She made me make another purchase. When I got the burger it was not completely cooked, and I was afraid to eat it because of her attitude. She did not give me a receipt. They were laughing as I drove off.
Stopped here with my teenage son who had never been to a Checkers. He got a bacon chicken combo number 6or8 maybe. I got a champ burger + bacon + extra pickles.I didn't get my extra pickles, it was on the receipt. We both enjoyed the fries they were hot and fresh, could've used some salt. They might have been saltier in the past.

Normally when I get food, it gets messed up every single time and I love the food ?? But this time it was perfect and I came home happy! Thank you to the people that took my order and made it right. Hopefully when I come back it will be the same people that did it right ?? You guys are appreciated! ☺️
