I'm not a big fan of a restaurant saying I have to order through a computer screen. The interface was OK, but it wasn't very good custo.er experience.
The food was great! Very clean and nice employees.
Came here to meet with some old friends. We had a blast. Spent about 4 hrs here catching up and chowing down. Staff was super nice and the place was very clean. Food is cheap but so good.
It is such a bummer that there are no servers anymore. You just go up to the kiosk and order your food now. Although I was bummed there were no servers, It seems like the food came out faster and more accurate than it used to when they had servers. Didn't have the spice sauce on the tables either. Again overall the food was great and service was fast.

Food was good. I do NOT like the paper straws they switched to. Not logical especially with shakes. Go back to the cheap ketchup packets and splurge on real straws. My opinion.
For sure the best S&S around. At least it's always open unlike the others that we tried to stop at. Food is good and we love the fries. My only complaint is, my wife ordered a small fry and I ordered a medium and I swear there were the same amount in each bag, which made me feel a bit ripped off.
The best Steak ‘n Shake I’ve been to in a while! Kiosk is a game changer for them. Food was good. Clean and well staffed at 10pm on 3.24.22
Waaay to goo staff!!! Previous experience with steak n shake South Elgin is you guranteed to have something messed up and it would be sloooooow. Not here I could tell very prompt and food was great
The new setup is alright . It just doesn't offer a wide variety of food choices.The burgers are still delicious! Touch serve order is different but easy!
