We loved going there to eat ! A lotUntil yesterday may 23rd 2022This lady killed the mood for us and was incredibly rude to my partner . Not only demanding him to hurry up and pay upfront … “ like now “ she saidBut demanded a tip … thanks to her? We will no longer be going .
So glad that buffet style restaurants are back. It was an interesting experience here at Royal Buffet. I find it with great varieties but, most selections needed seasoning. I think the staff could be more interactive. Despite that, the limited crab legs were better than the average casinos. The price is comparable to most buffet places. It will be sometime before I would revisit since other buffet places are opening up.
Heard about this place from a coworker. Decided to drive the hour from home to give it a try on a Saturday afternoon with the wife. Was easy to get to from northern suburbs with plenty of parking as it's located in a strip mall. Upon entering we were amazed at how large this business is. Tons of seating which means your bumping shoulders with other patrons while getting your food. Food selection was huge! Food was very tasty, except for the crawfish which was tasteless and overcooked. There is a line you must wait on if you want to eat the snow crab, wasn't too long of a wait, about 10-minutes, but still it's rather annoying to have to wait considering how large the place is. They should have a better system set up to have it readily available just like other items. I've seen pictures of lobster, there is no lobster, very disappointing especially for the price. Two people with two sodas plus local Cook County tax, which is always ridiculous, and tip cost us $90. While enjoyable for the most part this is not the type of place to frequent regularly if cost is a factor. Would I come back again, not sure, time will tell.
Mine was about 10 yrs ago, so it might be different now, food was great. And lots of choices, but waiter was literally asking for tip, when he only came by twice or 3 times during our visit and would not give us clean silverware, we had to reuse the silverware we got at the beginning. Everything else was good, just that experience with the waiter was not so good
Royal Buffet compared to Super China buffet? It’s cheaper at Super China buffet and the food is much fresher and more variety of Chinese food if you don’t like seafood.
Food is good as always bad bad really bad customer service from the kitchen stuff they're really nasty to customers they don't answer questions and they give us a us a lot of attitude. In the weekend crab legs shoot flow more often we shouldn't be waiting in line for over 30 minutes.
Love going here and it is 100% worth your money, especially if you have dinner. They have food ranging from sushi to beef broccoli to even crab legs and lobster. The dessert is also very high quality and very delicious. Almost every food available at this buffet is high quality and delicious. Never disappoints.
I love this place! All kinds of different ethnicity foods. For 35 dollars a person and what they offer. I believe it is well worth the price. The food is great I have only been here on Saturdays. So I cannot speak for during the week.
What an amazing buffet, no wonder that it was full of people enjoying their food. The variety of the food is amazing, the seafood variations is countless .The taste of everything is really delicious .There is enough amount of every item and when about to finish, they change it with a full tray .You can eat whatever you want but better not to waste food as they might charge more for that. The service was ok but I noticed that some plates were not clean even though it was in the place of clean plates .Overall it was a wonderful experience
It’s been too long! I finally found some time to venture down and eat at this restaurant again. Delicious food and the selection of food is good too. Only thing that could be improved is keeping the food warm because yesterday we had some dishes that were cold.
