I never have order there pizza. other than by the slice which is a new york style slice and is pretty good. But what we do order is the grinder sub sandwich's. From the beef , Italian to the meatball grinders I have never had a bad one . They have a rather large menu lots of choices to chose from I am sure most people would find something they like here
Fast, convenient, hot and fresh! Slices are big, and 1-2 will easily fill you up (I eat 2 and I have a big appetite haha) they have a great 2 slices plus a drink deal. Love this place, come here all the time. Huge menu!
Some good things remain unchanged, and those things are very rare. I came with family to this Garbaldi's in the late 80's and mid-90's for so many of our celebrations, and their pizza was always fantastic--plenty of cheese, perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of spices.I came back from Utah a few days ago thinking, surely, this place has changed by now. Boy was I wrong. The quality, feel, decor, and cleanliness of the place hasn't budged an inch. I think a lot of that has to do with amazing management, so a big thank you to Steve who has ran this location SINCE IT OPENED in the 70's. That is passion and commitment! I'm sure it has not been a painless journey, but he has stuck with it.Thank you Garbaldi's for so many amazing years of pizza and memories! For everyone else, you never know when things can change. Enjoy this wonderful establishment as much and as often as you can.
I'm a mover, we just moved a MANSION out in South Barrington. Our customer was nice enough to treat us to lunch and ordered 3 large pizzas. One with sausage and mushrooms, one sausage and one pepperoni , just for the 6 man crew. We polished off all 3 pies. Since moving to Illinois 2 years ago I've been searching for a NY/ Italian style pizza. Nice job. THANK YOU!
50's style fast food. Great Italian food at reasonable prices! Listen to 50s old tunes while eating in booths!
If I could give them 0 stars, I would.I went with a group of people, and we had "black hairs in all of our pizzas" and we were told it was from the "forks." He didn't even apologize at the very least. The manager was super rude, as always!Sick of it, sadly after 25 years NEVER coming back! HOPE THE MANDATE YOU CHOSE TO ABIDE BY DOES YOU WELL :) HAPPY NEW YEAR!From your friendly neighborhood spiderman.
Place is okay. The chicken strips are the best thing on menu. The pizza although hot n cheesy. Some folks can not eat it.I'm allergic to oregano. Weird right? Well because of that I can't eat it. Why you ask? Because they mix herbs into the cheese before baking. I asked to hold off seasoning the cheese for our order. Said it was impossible because they mix 25 lbs. Of cheese with Italian seasonings before baking imagine a huge tub with cheese. Then dump seasoning mix well then decorate sandwiches, pizza, lasagna. Etc. So if u like heavily seasoned pizza instead of naturally flavored (no seasonings at all) using their natural flavor to shine through . IN MY OPINION.
Pizza by the slice is great and tasty (5/5)Fries seemed like they were thawed or double fired.. cheese was frozen (ewww) try to avoid the cheese fries (1/5)Garlic bread was okay, I would recommend they put it in the oven for a few mins..
We ordered the pizza large veggie lover it was loaded with veggies. The crust was hand toasted. Will definitely try more things on their menu. It is value for money, worth trying. They have kids menu with lot of options. Vegetarian option is available.
