Absolutely speechless!! Shawarma King is AMAZING. I ordered the Mixed Grill Meal and my mother had the Chicken Shawarma Meal. The food came out fast and it was delicious. The rice was flavorful and all the meats in the mixed grill meal were seasoned and cooked to perfection. My mothers meal was absolutely delicious as well. The portions were generous and filling. We ordered some falafel as well and it was tasty and fresh, definitely recommend the garlic sauce to dip them in. After we finished our food the owner Haroon came out and talked to us. He was very warm and even gave us a complimentary lamp chop to try and It was fabulous!!! We ended the night with some baklava and it was sweet, rich, and flaky. I can not give this place a better rating. 100/10 i couldnt recommend it more. Thank you :)
The owner was so accommodating and lovely. Called me specifically to make sure any food allergies were addressed based on my online order comments. Then he created a delicious meal for us. Portions were great and flavors were wonderful!
Absolutely the best food ever! The seasoning is just right and the meat melts in your mouth! Prices are good. It is so nice to have excellent food, Sharwarma King is the best! I was greeted so kind, their customer service is respectful and welcoming. My family and I will always love this place.
First time trying this place and I decided to order the Beef and Chicken Kabob plate with Falafels. I do NOT regret my purchase! 10/10
AMAZING delicious food! Got the Mixed Shawarma for 6 and everything was so tasty, I wanted to keep eating after I was full! Friendly service, great food, nice atmosphere. Definitely coming here again!

I have been coming to Shawarma King since 2020. Over that course of time, I have tried almost every menu item and all I have to say is that all the food I have tried has been exceptional!! The staff is friendly and easy to talk with and you can tell that they really care about what they provide their customers.The food and experience have been so good that I have introduced this establishment to most of my friends and family in the area (with most becoming regulars). My review score above is based on over 50+ visits to the location in the past two years. I have never had a bad experience with the service or staff in that time.

Good Mediterranean food. After moving from NYC finally found the taste of back home.Hummas and khabos(pita bread) chicken kabob with rice and chicken shawarma wrap. Very satisfied. The gentleman was there I don’t know if he was the owner. He was very nice and humble person. Greeting his costumers like his guest. Nice and clean environment with good music. Keep it up thank you. Great food, great service, very clean, friendly atmosphere, healthy food option, and worth the ?. I can never finish it! taste even better as leftovers. I highly recommend them! Worth the drive to Gurnee, even with the rising gas prices.
