I’ve visited this restaurant who has a customer and as a delivery driver. I return often for their BLTA croissant sandwich. I love how fresh all of the ingredients are, I never find anything wilted or less ripe than it should be, and the portions of all the ingredients are perfect. The croissant is always perfect texture, sturdy enough to hold a sandwich together but never tough or dry. Sweet potato fries are fantastic I think I could snack on those all day! Their regular fries are delicious also. The burgers are also very very good and pretty big.Unfortunately they have a pretty limited dessert menu, and what they have is really very expensive for dessert items. Everything on the dessert menu is between $10 and $12. That seems really high for a slice of pie or a couple of cronuts. At the moment they only have four items on the dessert menu and two of them are the exact same thing in different quantities. As a delivery driver I’ve had good and bad experiences. They have a nice little waiting area for us to sit in which is not something other places have so I do appreciate that. But I do expect to wait between 5 and 10 minutes when I pick up an order from there. I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 15. The employees mostly ignore us when we walk in and go over to the waiting area. They’re not unfriendly but not exactly friendly either.
Denice was our waiter and she was absolutely fantastic. Very attentive, nice, talkative, and even got us refills we didn’t need or ask for just cause the kitchen was closing (turns out we did need them lol). Food was delicious as per usual and I have no complaints other than my burger had a tomato on it when I asked for none but that’s okay cause in the end I didn’t even notice cause the service was so good. Denice definitely deserves a raise if any higherups are reading this!
Our trip to this Red Robin was disappointing, but let's start with the good:1. The text system to let you know when your table is available is a vast improvement over trying to hear your name shouted in a loud restaurant.2. The servers were all very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. And now, the bad:1. Red Robin has done away with what is arguably the best dessert ever, the Mile High Mud Pie. This was actually the entire reason we went there for dinner, to get that in co-celebration of my wife's birthday and daughter's first tournament.2. It is so insanely loud in there, you have to shout to hear anything anyone at your table is saying. The music is cranked up far too loud.3. The digital entertainment screen on your table tries to sneakily charge you for "unlimited game access" if you tap an ad that looks like a trivia question. It then has a huge CONTINUE button, with a much smaller notification below that tells you you will be charged $1.99 if you continue.Overall, it was a pretty "meh" experience compared with past Red Robin trips in different cities. I would not refuse to go there if invited, but I will definitely never recommend that we go there again.
We started our experience with a cold introduction from our server Rafael. Was not inviting at all. We felt as if we were a bother to dine there. After taking our drink order and appetizers and taking our order we were in need of refills and he was at bar on his cell phone with headphones on even though we were visible from the bar. There were only other 2 tables so it wasn’t busy a all. If it wasn’t for the other server Katelyn to pick up his slack I wouldn’t walked out. She was warm and attentive as she brought us out food and refills.Food was great but would probably not go back to this location due to service we received today.
Terrible!! Don’t waste your money here!!! Waited over 20 mins for our food to come out. Our children’s food came out and we still waited for ours to come out! Then the sever just ignored us! I will not be coming back to this place! Not once did they ask how the food was or anything. Then we asked for more max n cheese and never brought any out to us. Didn’t even thank us as we were walking our the door. Then waited another 15-20 mins for the check.
Three adults, two children, over $100 at a burger joint! I realize in these times, costs have increased, but $20/person with 2 kids meals? But the real disappointment was the condition of the restaurant. Dirty floors, bathrooms atrocious. You would think a restaurant at Gurnee Mills, which attracts many shoppers would be in better conditions. I don't know if it's a trend, but it seems many restaurants are in similar shape and the consumer just accepts this rather than writing their experience and/or avoiding this business. I will not return to this business.
The only good was the food.. the host was strange.. didn’t greet us didn’t ask us how many people we asked if there’s a wait she said we are cleaning off a table. Then she started rolling silverware with her bare hands kinda gross. Service was pretty slow food took quite a while we got our drinks but had to ask for strawsif you only care about the food being good then go here
First off just had Red Robin on 2/15/22. Service great! Food great. It was the daytime is the only difference. Bartender didn't stop cleaning and setting up for about 2 minutes before he acknowledged we were sitting there, just to say I'll be with you shortly. Ordered a Heineken and never not got a chance to order another. Never got the 2nd order of Zucchini fries or my husband's fries.. Walked out as I was about to lose it. My husband paid. The bartender claimed to be busy, but forgot we can see in the kitchen. All he was doing was playing with some girl that was supposed to leave but was still in the kitchen with her coat on. So sick up people showing up to restaurants to work and NOT work! Stay home if you are in a bad mood! Red Robons lost money tonight.
Food was cold and under seasoned, fries were very soggy. This is my first time being unsatisfied with a Red Robin’s restaurant. Staff was very polite during my dine in experience but the restaurant seems very understaffed. Ordered a burger for my wife as well and the burger was pink in various spots, i requested a well done burger. This place needs some serious help and revamping
We found ourselves here while hungry and needing to kill some time. The service was good, but that is where it all stopped. The two burgers we got were cold and the toppings thrown on at random. The fries were hot, but we got about 8 each like they were trying to keep them from us. I even question whether the small burger patties were meant for our $12 & $14 sandwiches. They could have been for those cheaper Tavern-style burgers they sell. With prices climbing through the roof and food quality plummeting, I would go elsewhere.
