The first visit was great the food was great the service was great, the second one on Wednesday was not so good, cashier was on the phone rubbing hair taking money without washing hands afterwards, I believe we spend 60 some dollars, we got a med thin crust pizza with cheese and sausage something about the crust wasn't right, we got sandwich Italian sausage and beef combo with cheese there was no peppers no Italian juice and the bread was not toasted like the first visit, we had to ask to peppers and the juice, we got the 6pcs buffalo wings the chicken was precook because it came out 7 min later and we know it takes chicken 20 min to Cook! We order a Taco salad with chicken it was bad but again I had to ask for some kind of dressing with it!! We order 3 drinks.As we sit there waiting young lady text on the , rubbing her hair hand in her face and taking money from customers, never did wash her hands. So if we ever go back it would be when the owner is there with her Cook,,, because the food was really really good the first visit.

We ordered Renees Favourite and bought the last banana frozen yogurt (and at that time we knew the yogurt was a week old).Pros:-Customer Service-Freshness-Cleanliness-Helpfulness-Honesty-Garlic strengthCons:-Our (what i believe was their thicker crust like hand tossed or pan instead of a thinner crust) wasn't very soft or have much fluff. But that's just personal preference, my wife enjoyed it very much just not me.-Banana frozen yogurt, flavour was not good. I eat anything and everything flavoured in banana but this was, eh.We are definitely trying this place again! I didn't knock any stars off for the cons, because she told us the banana yogurt was older and maybe that's why i think the taste was so off and the dough/crust was flavoured good i just didn't like stiffness.
This place is awesome. They were going to close early because they were slow and the nice lady who answered the phone called us back and took our order. The food looked as good as it tasted. I highly recommend this place. The food is awesome.
Cleaning the place 45 minutes before they closed. Chairs scattered about the place. We were asked to sit at one of two tables. Lousy customer service provided by a young lady. She just wanted to go home and not wait on customers. Young lady up front made a racket cleaning behind the counter while we dined in. Couldn't get a cup of ice for our drinks. How did this dive get a 4.5? Not even close!
I ordered two pizzas, cheese & sausage and Pizza Neapolitan. Both were delicious and very fresh! The Neapolitan (w:extra feta) was my favorite. I’ll definitely order from Mamma K’s again. Also, want to mention the delivery service, Slice is fast and personnel very polite.
I've tried their gyro, chicken wings, fries. They are all delicious. This is my go to spot in Gurnee if I crave fried foods.
I ate here half a year ago and created my own calzone. It was great sized portions, delicious food, and really great service. This is probably the best place to eat if you're craving pizza they definitely don't skimp out on ingredients. Thank you for how well you guys operate :)Update 11/6/20This place is under new management. The amount and quality of the food went down. They no longer give you a massive portion of food. The quality of the wings are nowhere near as crispy as they used to be. This place used to be one of my go to restaurants for a quick bite, but I guess I will have to find somewhere else to spend my money.Update 1/14/22Wanted to give them another chance and got feta fries. The container size used to be normal container, now it's the size of a hot dog container for $4. This place fell far from where it started. There's better pizza choices and Italian restaurants nearby. Avoid this place.
Mama K’s is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is delicious and the staff are great! The food is a little pricey but it tastes really, really good!
Very good pizza. Especially when it was owned by the old couple few years ago.
The pizza was really delicious fresh out oven hot, staff was respectful polite and friendly also it was done in the time frame it said online after ordering.
