Ok, we stop here occasionally because it is a Long John Silver's as well as a KFC but no more! About half the time we come here for fish they say they don't have any or it will be a 30 minute wait. My wife went there today to get chicken and they said it would be a 25 minute wait! FOR CHICKEN..... AT A KFC! We will be going to the one in Waukegan instead from now on.
This place opens and closes whenever they want despite the scheduled hours on the door. The staff are a bunch of people who are disappointed that your there and making them work.
Tries the beyond chicken nuggets and they were very tasty! Food came very hot! Definitely try out the Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning!
Basically unprofessional. Staff messed up, stalled me in the drive thru, and then I went inside to recieve the order. I kept my composure and was polite but recieved sass in return. I love long john silvers but this place is a low standard bottom of the barrel joint. Definitely wouldn't recommend it. I get it if you're having a tough day but don't unleash your frustration out on customers! This place didn't even have the basic condiments. Burger King and McDonald's are far superior.
I don't know why this place got such bad reviews. It's a clean store, the food seemed fresh, and the staff was friendly.I'll be back.
The chicken I just picked up was basically not cooked. The bottom of that chicken thigh was mushy. When I brought it back to the store the woman got very snippy with me and told me that's the way original is served. I told her I've been coming to KFC for 60 years and I've never got a piece of chicken that was mushy she refused to give me a piece that was cooked. I left with my mushy chicken and will never be back to that store again in gurnee. That woman needs an attitude adjustment. FYI to the owner, I paid cash for that meal and they never gave me a receipt.
Absolutely horrible customer service many times I wait in drive-thru and order to find out they ran out of chicken smdh.
Drove past the other day around 7pm and there was no one there. I tried calling at 1pm on Saturday and no one answered. I think it is closed for good.
Chicken looks beyond horrible I wouldn't feed it too a animal, can't even make out the wings and thighs , the breading is wet, soggy and hanging all over the place...and the sides are cold Never again I'll just drive to Waukegan instead ? waste of $30The breast are tough just sigh smh bad business
If I could give zero stars I would for the gurnee location. I ordered online and paid and when I tried to get my food through the drive through, they said they didn't have some of the food that we ordered, so I had to go inside. I asked for a refund because the assistant manager I believe told me that they don't have many items and they haven't had a shipment in a week and I was told that they can't issue the refund and that I had to call the 800 number for kfc. I went to the parking lot to call and the option for online orders disconnected on me 2x, so I went back in . The person who I think was an assistant manager called and said the customer service line worked and she was on hold, so she told me to call, so I called in the store and I figured instead of being on hold forever and probably still not getting my money back, I'd rather have some food, so I just tried to replace the option they didn't have with something else and I was met with attitude and was told the wings were made to order and would take 12 minutes. It was like she was trying to get me to leave, but I said I would wait and the order was ready in 2 minutes. Then they didn't give me my drinks and when I asked for them, they acted like I was bothering them. I ordered today from the Round Lake KFC and the experience was so much better and I ordered the same meal and realized it was supposed to come in a box with a biscuit and at the gurnee one it was all thrown in a bag with no biscuits. Do not go to the gurnee location! They didn't have tenders, sandwiches, mashed potatoes, coleslaw...how are they still in business. This place should be closed down.
