Came with a large group of 20 people for lunch. Called ahead and they had tables ready with water and preordered appetizers presented nicely.Everyone ordered from the lunch special menu. Tonkatsu bento box was well portioned and really worth it. There was also a lunch special where it comes with two rolls and you can add a third roll for just $3. Good deal. People who ordered rice bowls said it was mediocre.Cons: Air conditioning was not adequate and made me nervous to eat at a raw fish place that didn’t have temperature controlled well. Wait staff did not check in on us even though we were one of just 3 other parties there. We arrived 30 minutes after opening and bathrooms were not tidied up and out of soap. Also, fried rice in bento box was stale and old.
I've been here many times before with my friends. I used to absolutely love coming here. The last two times the service, the quality, and the experience was terrible, was simply unacceptable.Me and my friend arrived there at 9pm on a Thursday. They said we couldn't stay because the kitchen would close in a few minutes. We were surprised because if the restaurant closes at 10pm how can they not receive a customer at 9pm? It makes no sense. We tried to question it but no success. The last time we go there 7:30pm and the same guy told us they didn’t have a table so we asked how long was going to be the wait and he tried really hard to make us walk way saying that was going to be a long wait. We said we wanted to wait anyways and he was like but is going to take more than an hour we have many reservations and I don’t even know if I can take you tonight. That made us really frustrated so we asked him to put our names in because we were going to wait (he clearly did want to but did it ). We went to wait in the car since he said would take an hour. A third friend of mine arrived literally 5 minutes after we left the restaurant. So we decided to try with her since we felt something really personal coming from the person who was “helping” us. So she went in by herself and got a table for all of us literally 5 minutes after.I waited until we were done eating and asked him what was the problem because was clear that he didn’t want us there and I wanted to know why because I was never disrespectful with him or any other person who works there. He had no words to explain himself. Also that night we did get any attention from the waitress. Not likely to come back, despite how much we used to love this place when they had other employees.
To the Hispanic community and people of color!I usually do not write horrible reviews or reviews in general but after my experience today, I knew I had to warn my people of color. I walked in with my girlfriend hoping to enjoy dinner (keep in mind we walked in at the same time as another white couple). We were served our water and the menu but then it seemed like we weren't there because they totally forgot about us until I had raised my hand because we were ready to order for the past 38 minutes. He then told us to erase our order on the all you can eat sheet since we marked it wrong, but he never came back to pick it up. My girlfriend and I sat there for an hour (6:25 - 7:33) waiting for at least a refill for our water WHILE the white couple was already have-way finished with their sushi!! The whole experience was more depressing than angry.

Not worth it. I've been here many times before with my family. I used to absolutely love coming here, whether it was for birthdays or just a casual evening out for sushi. This time I was here the service, the quality, and the experience was abysmal. I can understand businesses having a hard time with employees, but this was simply unacceptable. We had no idea who the server was, the couple of guys working that we were able to flag down barely said any words to us. The sushi that we ordered came out wrong, some of it did not come out at all, we had to ask several times for them to bring missing pieces. Additionally, no one ever stopped by to refill water or any drinks that were ordered. When we spoke to the manager we got no help.Honestly, just a very lackluster and expensive experience. Not likely to come back, despite how much we used to love this place.
Came during a slow lunch time. Nice presentation, and good sized portion for $10.00. but the food was not tasty. It was edible, but there were some issues, unfortunately. The deep fried portions were cold, fish was dry and overcooked, and lackluster balance of flavors and textures for the other dishes. They were out of draft beer too! :(
I was surprised by the quality and portions for AYCE. It was tasty and the service was excellent. They even put a candle for us to sing happy birthday.
For all you can eat Sushi, I was expecting small portions and lower quality fish. Not here! Food is fantastic and for $21, the price can’t be beat!Highly recommend.Note: you get charged for anything you don’t eat which is standard practice across the industry
Great deal for all you can eat sushi. Proportion of the rice and filling is decent, some a lot of rice, but not all, depend on the rolls. Nigiri cut to nice size too. All the fish we ate were fresh, nothing to complain.Gyoza is good, but udon could be better.Service is great! Our waiter patiently explain everything and have a very high tolerant toward our loud mom group, which is greatly appreciated. Overall, great place for all you can eat sushi just be sure to understand the pricing and follow the ayce rules.
My friends and I decided to try this place out as we have never been to an all you can eat sushi restaurant before. When we got in, we let the waiter know that this was our first time, so we don’t really know how this works. Whenever we asked the waiter a question he would seem frustrated/mad and would be rude when answering the question. We ended up ordering way more food than we can eat because he didn’t explain to us how big the portions would be. When we asked him about the portions before ordering he just said put the number of people there are and he will bring out that many. So we put 3 for the appetizers we wanted as there were three of us and we ended up getting WAY too much! Just have one serving of the appetizers would have been enough for us.Then we were worried about the sushi because we also put 3 for those as well. When we asked the waiter if we could instead change it to 1 for each of the sushi rolls the waiter told us that he won’t be able to change it. When the sushi came it was A LOT! There were basically 9 rolls per person!!!!! No way we could finish all of it. The sushi and appetizers weren’t bad, but the waiter being rude and not properly explaining the portions made our experience at this restaurant one of the worst experiences we have ever had. There are 3 total rounds and we were already done after the first round. We will never be coming to this restaurant again. We have been to other restaurants before which were our first time, like a hotpot or Korean BBQ and the waiters were always kind and explained/answered any questions we had well after we informed them it was our first time.
