Red Star with the new owners is off the play lìst. From having to repeat my phone number 4 times to waiting 20 minutes for my pickup order that was supposed to ready. The wonton soup was good, the house fried rice, Mongolian beef, and the egg rolls were cold and bland. The food was over priced. Looking for a new Chinese place, because Red Star is out,
Do not order online from this restaurant. Owner does not know how to use the computer, so they will not make or give you your food. I still have not received my money back after ordering online and failing to get the food that I ordered
This is the first time i tried this with the new owner i just want to tell the owner guys you need flavoring in your food it taste like bland hospital food and the fried rice fry it for christ sake it taste like it was boiled and the beef dinners no flavor sorry guys i been coming their for years the food was so flavorful now its nothing i won't be coming back and if you don't make changes in your flavor you won't be around to much longer sorry !!!
I really love this place. The food is good the atmosphere is awesome and the entertainment is Phenomenal.
The professionalism of this restaurant has downgraded in the last two months when I’ve been coming hear since a kid after the owner changed it’s disgusting to see an owner try to be so disrespectful and not Caring about his customers to ignore the fact that they did the wrong food, cooked it under temperature and sent in raw food unbelievable I cannot even believe the cook county allows this restaurant to still be open and proceeding to feed people with this quality and the old owners made a mistake of selling this amazing restaurant to such a slum new owner and I absurd with the service that I got and will not be going back there and personally letting my family and friends never to go here again
Took a while to get through to order my meal. Once I ordered my meal, I waited an extra 10 minutes to get the mea I ordered. It appeared that they might have been confusion with one of the items. However, what really made this a 1 star was the fact that a man was walking around in the kitchen without a face mask on, which seems to be a violation of cook county order and could potentially be a health violation.
Have been going here for years. Last visit was a huge disappointment. Instead of my order, got what looked to be a leftover lunchbox. Didn't have time to go back for a redo. Tasteless, at best. Save yourself the trip.

I always love the food here. The portions are generous, affordable and the food is always fast yet tastes better than most restaurants. Bring it home or eat at a park. (We go to Flick park). The lady is fast and efficient yet nice enough despite the pace. If you need a proper meal and dont have time to cook for the fam, this is a great option.
