Pad see ew was amazing! Cooked to perfection and super flavorful. Food came out fast and the service was wonderful as well! Will definitely be back.
Excellent service when we walked in. Place is very clean too. I ordered Pad Thai prepared with chicken. My dish was outstanding; seasoned well, fresh spices and presentation was nice. Ordered a side of peanut sauce, delicious!!!! Highly recommend. My husband ordered chicken satay as an appetizer, This was also very good with a small cucumber salad. Again, very refreshing especially on a hot day. What ruined our entire experience is unfortunately the sushi. He ordered A Maki Roll: Futo. The rice was overdone very sticky and the seaweed wrap paper was chewy and rubbery. We couldn’t even eat, actually had to spit out bites we took. When our server asked us about meal, we praised the first two items but stated how we couldn’t eat the sushi. The response was “I will tell the supplier”. That’s it. Didn’t offer to adjust bill or apologize. Very disappointing!!!! We would have definitely come back to try other items. This is not how you make good on a valid complaint when brought to your attention. The issue raised is between you and your supplier, not at the customer’s expense…literally.
I came to this restaurant because the app upside was giving some money back when you eat with them. Off-topic, the Glenview area was beautiful to walk around, so this restaurant has a nice location. I ordered a Thai iced coffee which came out in a mason jar. It was okay. The star of the show was an appetizer, fried calamari. They were not greasy, but crunchy. I also ordered pad see ew which was okay. The shrimp was the best part. The sauce was bland and needed work. For the taste of the noodles, they should have been cheaper.
Hands down my favorite Pad See Ew I've had in the suburbs.Noodles are fresh, full of flavor without being overly sweet or salty and not drenched in sauce or oily, and included a fair amount of broccoli/carrots. I've only ordered carry out, but the portion is typical size and fair for the price-- I just wish it was bigger because it's so delicious. The only other place in the Chicago area that I've had better Pad See Ew was the (now closed :() Thai Spice in Rogers Park. Also tried the soft shell crab and it seemed pretty authentic and the crab rangoon wasn't overly oily or fried with a good ratio of imitation crab meat and cream cheese. This is my new favorite go-to Thai place!
Though a bit pricey for the portion sizes, the food was prepared well. All of us loved our dishes. I had the Basil Noodle with veggies, it was delicious.
Fresh and full flavored. Nice presentation. Quality of their wnes by the glass was a wonderful surprise. I took two curry meals home as takeout for the next night following our noodle dishes. We had chicken satay and soft shelled crab appetizers beforehand. Also very good. We asked for chopsticks, as table was set with flatware.
Don’t know how this place operates. I’ve had food there 3 times and it was all bad. Not good Thai (Tom Yam soup was disgusting), not good sushi and not good customer service (they wanted me to buy more and charge more on my credit card if I didn’t total $10). Do this people not know there are 10 more Thai restaurants in 10 min radius??? Better avoid this place.
The food was excellent! We were a party of 3 and ordered vegetarian friendly dishes. If you can handle the spice, you should try the hot or very hot. The udon noodles were excellent
Best Thai food in town. The food is delicious. From the Pad Thai dishes to the California rolls, everything is fresh and tasty. Great service and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
