Drove by and decided to try this place. Walked in to a friendly staff and had nice conversation with the owner about the food. I ordered 3 tacos: Chicken tinga, chorizo and cochinita pibil. They were all deliciousI recommend if you like tacos and this kind of food
Asada tacos were fresh and delicious, I wish the Horchatta was served with ice those weren't so fresh the drinks were pre made and put in a cooler that all customers touch to grab salsas.. other then that, La Taquiza y Mas had good & timely service.
Great joint with tasty fair-priced food and friendly people. Please, ignore the food brats leaving poor reviews. If you are hungry and in the mood for Mexican this place is great. Delicious meat options on all entrees, flavorful salsas, tasty horchata. Happy to support a local business.
I love the fajita veggie tacos for a quick and filling vegan lunch! Always has great food with a cute and artsy atmosphere :)
DO NOT EAT HERE. Poor customer service and food is mediocre. I googled authentic Mexican restaurants in the area and this place came up. I ordered 2 chicken tacos to go & an order of chips & guac. Instead I received 1 dry unseasoned chicken taco and chips (STALE) with salsa. When I got back to my office I was completely dissatisfied with their quality of food and customer service. Nothing AUTHENTIC at all about this place.AGAIN UNPROFESSIONAL EVERY IS ENTITLED TO A LUNCH HOUR. THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE RESPONDED WITH SARCASIM JUST SHOWS WHAT TYPE OF COMPANY THIS IS. I FIND REAL GOOD TOP OF THE LINE HANDS DOWN GREAT MEXICAN FOOD IN CHICAGO NOT THE GARBAGE YOU ARE SELLING. AS AN OWNER YOUR REPLY JUST MADE YOU LOOK 10X WORSE. I WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE A GREAT REST OF THE DAY!
Oh no, they used to use all white meat chicken breast for their tacos and burritos and now use dark meat and stringy meat. The taste is definitely different please bring back the other meat. Why change a great restaurant?
I love this place ! The tinga tacos are my favorites and their specialty tacos , soup and drinks are really tasty too. I’ve been coming here a lot for a few years and never got anything I didn’t like .
The food was absolutely fantastic, it definitely did not lack flavor so if Taco Bell is your favorite place to go this not the place for you. All of the sauces had just enough flavor as well and the Roja salsa was a little thicker which I liked. The owner gave out great recommendations. My favorite was the La Pinkis torta. I don’t typically order enchiladas but I am glad that I did because the chicken was so tender and it had just enough salsa on them to not make them mushy. I will surely be back for more !
Came in to get a taco and some elotes never been before but definitely coming back the taco was amazing and the corn is fantastic especially the orange sauce all great nice authentic taco place in the area of my work for sure
Shrimp tacos were great. Rice in steak burritos was undercooked, it was crunchy.. Interior was nice, service was good.
