Sat outside which wasn't bad. Service was fine but food was well below par. I think the steak is cooked in oven as had no grill on it and was grey. The kids ribs I can undoubtedly say, stay away from it tasted like dog food smells and I had to spit it out! Do not ever meet here
An absolutely wonderful dining experience! I ordered a burger with the condiments on the side and everything was delightful! The burger was magnificently juicy at a perfect medium rare, the mashed potatoes were fresh and buttery, and the fried onions for the burger were done just right! I also tried a piece of my friend's steak and it was bombastic!
Bill, our server, was terrific. Food was very good.
As always, the food is excellent, the service was above and beyond. And the price is just right. My only disappointment is that we had asked for a quiet booth, but the live music was so near and so loud that we had trouble conversing.
3+1/2?The calamari was good, my wife's shrimp scampi was also good. My steak sandwich was tender and flavorful. Big disappointment was the asiago potatoes. Now, I'm a pretty good cook, as a matter of fact better than many. I've cooked all over the place. Those potatoes were terrible, they were watery, they had no flavor, and just the asiago was not enough to save them. So, two forks full and that's it. My wife had the blueberry cocktail, she really enjoyed it. But the most disappointing thing was, our waiter was just not a friendly individual. He seemed not to want to interact much, he wasn't attentive, and didn't smile! Which is okay, he didn't get an excellent tip either. There were about three tables full of people in the entire building, and he still was not that attentive to our table.As you can see, from all of my reviews, I don't penalize the food because of the waiter. Those are two separate and distinct issues. And I doubt if the waiter would have changed my review as far as stars go. I will say, the bathrooms were spotless, and like I always say, clean bathrooms equal clean kitchens! Remember that when you go to a restaurant you've never been in before, check out the bathroom first thing, if it's a dump (no pun intended LOL), go eat somewhere else!The atmosphere in the booths is relaxing, the ambiance of the entire facility elicits a certain privacy which is enjoyable.Only thing I would suggest, employees should knock on the bathroom doors before they walk in, my wife was quite surprised!If you like, give me a call, I'll show you how to make even better steaks and the best potatoes you've ever shoved in your pie hole!
This is our go to date night spot when we don’t know where or what we want to eat. I love that the chef is always adding new specials or making things that are in season! We love the ambience inside or even on the patio it’s just a wonderful place to visit.
Great food and drinks. Nice for just dinner or a special occasion.
The chicken on the salad was delicious. It was a quarter of a chicken that was served warm.
Our wait staff was wonderful. Our food was fresh and tasty. I did notice that their portions were smaller than in the past and the food was more expensive as well.
Have been to Johnnys numerous times and the food is consistently very good and wait staff great.
