Absolutely fantastic Italian food from a person who has grown up on Italian cooking! The fried calamari was not over cooked and chewy but just perfect, softly giving way to the bite with a crisp delicate exterior. The mussels were fresh and of a plump juicy sweetness reminiscent of the ocean. Although I am generally not a person that favors cheese-based dishes due to their heaviness. I can not give a high enough recommendation for the Eggplant Rollatini antipasti! The lightness of the ricotta and spinach perfumed by a strikingly garden-fresh tomato sauce that is beyond the senses has become one of my favorite dishes!
I ordered two take out meals of two types of Ravioli. I have never been so utterly disappointed in an italian meal! Portions were less than child size. One dinner had five and one diner had six raviolis the ravioli was like rubber. And for the cost of $69 which included a quart of Alfredo sauce. I will NEVER return for a take out to Gusto's ever again!! Horrible, absolutely horrible!! They should be ashamed to call themselves italian resturant and food PS. Thr bread was very bad also!!

After 2 visits. The food is fresh, perfectly seasoned and prepared well. The cocktails are spot on. Its clean, with free and ample parking and steps from the Metra. We shall return.
Definitely a small family restaurant feel. Food was sooo good. Service was amazing! They were so kind to us and our 3 kids. Definitely try the tiramisu! Forgot to take photos it was so good!
Good authentic Italian taste and pur host and servers were good, they answered all our questions and explained the dish

Wow, literally the best Italian food I’ve ever had. The decorations are so cute and cozy and you feel like you’re at your Italian Grandmother’s house. The chicken piccata was exquisite and so was the lasagna. Will most definitely be coming back here!
