If you live in Glenview, you have to try out the Dairy Bar. There are a variety of ice cream flavors and also many deserts which are very tasty. I especially recommend the blue raspberry dip which is my favorite.

Honestly one of the best ice cream joints I've ever eaten at. Fully recommend anything here if you're hungry. Had amazing service and you should check it out if you've got the time.
Nice little location & tasty treats. Got a small Caramel Apple sundae with sliced pecans & whipped cream. The caramel was still warm and melty. It was so good! 100% would come back if I'm ever in Glenview again.
A fun and yummy place to visit after dinner or just plainly having a sweet tooth. Teenagers frequent this store in the evening with lines of customers waiting to order all kinds of ice creams, hot dogs and other treats. It can easily become a family tradition to visit this place every night or every week and train lovers will love this spot as it is next to the Glenview Metra train station. Cheap and cool treat for everybody.
This place is a Glenview tradition run by a couple. I’ve gone for over 20 years every summer. I love to people and dog watch!
Great ice options for ice cream. Be prepared to wait, tons of people come here and traditionally a 15 minute wait
This dairy bar is AMAZING! I really recommend Vanilla with hot butterscotch sundae. Only complaint is that butterscotch doesn't always come hot. If you don't like that, there are SO MANY OTHER VARIETIES that it is impossible to try them all. Go here for quality soft serve.(P.S. My neighbors are the owners. Just so u know.)
Stop here to grab a Hot Dog and it was absolutely delicious!! I'd a candy blast for dessert reeses pieces and butterfinger pieces in ice cream which was equally delicious.. and the Cashiers was super nice and very professional.. Well worth every penny and another visit..Its cash only good ppl..
If you're looking for soft-serve ice cream on the North Shore, Glenview Dairy Bar is a great place. A lot of choices, including Creamsicle (orange + vanilla swirl).
