Fresh and delicious doughnuts, yummy!
The donuts were fresh. Coffee is still mediocre. The staff was pleasant.
Is it the Chicago area franchises only? Donut sizes have shrunk and prices have risen absurdly. $1.45 for a small (often minimally filled) jelly donut! This Bostonian born and bred is giving up on DD's. For a real donut I now go to Mariano's supermarket bakery where a jelly-full filled and virtually twice the size is sold for 89 cents (until recently 79 cents.) And their coffee is comparable or better than DD's.
Is it possible to mess up your order twice? In this location it is. I ordered wake up wrap with sausage and hot coffee but I have to return for sugar first and for sausage the second time.

Not sure what happened at this location. It used to be great but recently service is suffering. Extremely slow service recently on the morning shift between 9-10:30am. New woman working the counter that could use some more training for accuracy and keeping the line moving.... Other staff at this location are great!
We got a grilled cheese and it had a piece of paper in the sandwich.
The new avocado toast is a hit ?
