Heaven for the Hot Dog lover. If not a Hot Dog lover, you will be after you try these. OR you can have the other many Heavenly dishes on the menu. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dawg Park.Thank you to the staff.
I was really excited to try this place after seeing all the good reviews. I have kids too & my oldest was excited to come here. The restaurant itself is nice, "Instagram aesthetic" as my daughter would say. Lol. The food and service were the problem.Upon going inside, I asked the manager what he recommends to try as it's my first time eating there. He recommends the "crazy curry chicken" so I order it. I spend $35 for two people.Upon trying the sandwich, I nearly gagged. I couldn't stand the smell... the sandwich itself was a mess. The sauce on the chicken was just....off... I wanted to make sure it wasn't just me who felt this way so I had my family members try the sandwich and if they liked it they would have been willing to switch. No one liked it. I went to the manager and told him... "I literally never do this but is there ANY way that I could get something else" and I apologized but explained I literally just couldn't fathom the sandwich at all. He told me no because there is nothing wrong with it but I could order something else and pay. Now, I had just spent $35 & this is my first time here. So I said it's fine, I'll just eat the fries for dinner & gave the sandwich to him. I was really upset that he wasn't willing to offer a simple cheeseburger or something to satisfy a new customer. After awhile, I think he felt bad so he offered me something else. I explained to him that I was upset about his initial reaction because it felt like he didn't care whether I liked it or not & didn't care to have a customer come back or not in the future. He offered to make me a cheeseburger to go and I accepted. I said medium well for the cheeseburger and was excited to finally eat something. I get home... and the cheeseburger was RAW. so disappointing. Unfortunately I won't be going back.
Friendly staff, excellent food, and some unique twists. Their vegetarian burger patty is excellent and picks up the grill flavor. We loved bringing our dog.
Staff is great. Food is excellent.
I ordered for delivery on Uber eats. I was really impressed with the presentation of the shake! They put in as much effort on delivery orders as dine-in. Most other restaurants would only give you the vanilla shake and whipped cream+cherry in a cup with dome lid. I was not expecting the sprinkles on the outside of the cup, and the cute marshmallows and dog bone shortbread cookie. It’s amazing. The shake wasn’t very thick, but I liked it a lot. Was easy to drink and tasted great. I also ordered the Milwaukee Brat and the fiesta dog. I especially loved the Milwaukee Brat. It was very delicious. I’d add a photo of it, but I ate it before I could take a picture lol
Indoor place to get a good hotdog and with your dog during winter??? Heck yes! We came on an off time and ordered the chicago dog and california deluxe dog. They were huge and yummy. The thai fries were good and were smoothered with the sweet chili sauce you dip eggrolls in. Our dog had the hamburger and rice and he loved it. Service was fast, helpful and friendly to everyone and dog who came in. We will definitely come back!
Good food. Friendly staff. My dog enjoyed too....
I had a really good time eating in this place for the first time. The place looks clean and it has a really fun atmosphere and vibe and every single detail of the whole place really catches my attention. First, is their interior which has a nice combination of colors plus the walls which has an animal decoration, Second, would definitely be their menu which has different names that really catches my attention and which I also think is kind of fun. Last, is their food I ordered a Thai California, chili cheese fries and a mint chocolate fudge shake which has an unusual presentation or I must say plating, the Thai California and chili cheese fries is served not with a plate but with a dog’s bowl and when it comes to the taste both of it is delicious and also the mint chocolate fudge shake which is also good and I really like the flavor of the shake which I would definitely order if I visited this place again.PS. This place is literally dog and animal friendly. Highly recommended!
I went to Dawg Park this afternoon. I had a delicious Chicago Polish and Fried Pickle Spears. All excellent. Welcoming employees. Nice pooch visited me. The menu had something for everyone.
Lots to like at this restaurant, fun decor, friendly service, wide variety of food tastes. Hot dogs were somewhat difficult to eat, however, due to copious and messy toppings. Hot dogs were also not as hot as fries - fries were tasty but not crispy.Dogs are allowed in the restaurant which is cool in theory but we had to listen to two dogs yip and bark during our entire meal, so that was a miss.Alcoholic drinks are available.Lastly, while the food was good, it’s definitely on the expensive side for portion sizes and quality.
