Best fried chicken in the suburbs. I always order the spicy garlic chicken tenders. 10/10.

We got the hot garlic and the green onion! The green onion was so good and very unique. The hot garlic is basically yang nyeom (양념), for all my korean peeps out there. Curly fries are hot, fluffy, and crispy

Delicious! The Mep Snow tenders were so crispy and flavorful. I was just there and now I’m craving it again. Would highly recommend!

YES, JUST YES!Crispy, checkJuicy chicken, check,Flavorful, check. And not to mention the mu (pickle radish). This place is delish and will be returning to get more Korean fried chicken.Pictured, the snow and the yangyum

This Korean chicken is really good. I had their whole garlic chicken for takeout. It takes around 15min for them prepare the chicken and it tastes very good. One star off is due to its relatively high price.

Probably will give it another try, taste ok but not impressive, the soy garlic wings and fries were too saucy or over seasoned, just comparing this one dish, Bonchon is better

We went to this Korean place and we really love their chicken. They have wide selection of fried chicken in different flavors. We are just a newbie so we ask the staff for some recommendations and the staff in here is friendly and helpful. She said we should try their snow onion chicken because it is famous and also their specialty and we did order it we also want other chicken and she asked if we wanted spicy chicken and we said yes so, she recommended their tikku red hot gizzard chicken. They also have some burgers with chicken for patty but did not feel like eating burgers. We also got fries and some beer for drinks. The place is kind of spacious and clean and there are many tables inside and there are also many tables in their patio. Service is quick. The chicken looks really good, at first look, it looks really crunchy. Seriously speaking the chicken was delicious just literally delicious it is crunchy, crispy, tender and the flavors of each really melts in my mouth. Everything is perfectly seasoned and I definitely love their snow onion, the sauce is so good and the onions also got some crunch and flavor to the chicken. The tikku red hot gizzard chicken is also good and definitely spicy but manageable.

My review is based on take-out orders, not a dine-in experience. This is also our first time trying it.Quick note: We ordered during a non-rush hour, and they somehow managed to forget our fries, and the kimchi didn't look like it had any cheese in it. In addition, their phone did not work, so I had to drive back and grab the fries. The clerk did apologize thoroughly, but I wished they could have made a new fries order because it was cold by the time I returned to get it, and the other food got cold at home while I drove back and forth, but I will not review based on this. I would appreciate for the staff always to double-check the order next time.Review: I have attached pictures of the food I got. The chicken they gave for the Snow Onion Chicken, although good, was terribly tiny! My hand is smaller than standard man, so this probably tells you how small they are... The kimchi from the cheese fries is good, but I honestly don't taste/see any cheese on it...so I wonder if they forgot to add cheese as well.I would consider these as regular drunk food and would taste good with alcoholic beverages, so to my taste, I think it's slightly above average considering the service, environment, taste.I will give it a second chance and try out more on the menu and perhaps do a dine-in and see if the size of the chicken changes.

I’ve been ordering from here frequently since the pandemic began, and I can honestly say they make the best fried chicken I’ve ever had - including the many places I’ve tried in Korea! While most of my orders were takeout, I did eat in a few times when it was safe to do so, and I will say that their service was not the greatest and our orders were wrong 2 of the 3 times I ate in. However, they were quick to fix the errors, so I didn’t mind much. My takeout orders were always correct and just as crispy and fresh as it was when we ate in. I’ve introduced many people to this place, and they’ve all loved it as much as I do, if not more! There was one incident today when I ordered takeout, but the manager’s very sensible response made it completely fine. The person taking my order was a new employee, and despite physically pointing to the menu and confirming my order verbally several times, the new employee put my order into the computer system incorrectly. Furthermore, the order they put into the system was incorrectly filled. Given the multiple mistakes, I called to let them know, but the person who answered was entirely unhelpful (though perfectly respectful and apologetic). I don’t blame him since he likely did not have the authority to do much, but it was really frustrating that he kept offering free fries instead of just fixing my order. He even told us (more than once) to come back and purchase another order of chicken and that he’ll just add some sauce for free. This call, in addition to being left with food we did not want nor ordered but had to pay for, put us in a terribly sour mood, so I asked him to tell the manager to give me a call. The manager was extremely understanding and kind, and he apologized profusely. He very proactively mentioned that this whole ordeal must’ve left us in a bad mood and that we should’ve gotten what we ordered. He immediately made things right by refunding the full order. I definitely will continue to eat here and recommend this place to others!

We took a ride out to Choong Man Chicken in Glenview on a friend's recommendation.First time having snow onion chicken and boy was it good!We ordered the whole snow onion chicken.Fried Chicken topped with raw white sliced onions and their special savory and creamy signature white sauce. The portion is huge and more than enough for two to share. In fact we had enough left over that we took it home and ate it the next day too! They start you off with chopped radishes, sliced carrots and celery with a great dipping sauce. We paired our meal with a Blue Moon beer and really enjoyed it!There are so many other interesting items on the menu that it is worth it to return here again and try follwing different each time.We also loved the decor, and the restaurant is family friendly. If you're out in the Glenview area stop on by to Choon Man Chicken!
