The food as exceptional. Very loud and hard to hear. Great margaritas.
We have loved Cafe El Tapatio in the city and in Glenview! Itâs a family favorite- kids and parents love it alike! Great food, great drinks and great service.

I had been here one time before. Margaritas are good but food not so great. Guacamole was watery and empanadas were over-fried. Also, this was the 1st time ever in any restaurant to get charged extra for salsa & for paying with a credit card. Probably won't return, unless just for drinks.
Great time
We made reservations via Open Table to take our 96 year old Grandfather to dinner here. When we arrived they did not seem to know about the reservation. After waiting for 25 minutes and still not being seated our party of 6 voted to leave. Very disappointed that our reservation wasn't honored. We saw some of the dishes the waiters brought to other people and the food looked good but we will never know. They need to get their act together.

We enjoyed our dinner and were impressed at the breadth of the menu. I ordered grilled fish tacos, one of my favorites. My husband and out friends enjoyed their dinners. We enjoyed a pitcher of the house margaritas and the weather was good enough to sit outside. Overall a positive experience and we would go back.

Booked through OpenTable for a time the restaurant was closed. They did not even give me to courtesy to call, text, or email about my reservations. Terrible customer service and I haven't even walked through the door yet
