Unfortunately we ordered a chocolate malt milkshake and we could barely taste any malt in it. Oberweis is a quality place but they need to get their malt situation down.
Amazing Ice Cream experience last night! I came with my whole family in tow, in particular my five year old son very much enjoyed his peanut butter waffle bowl sundae. The nice young lady who took our order, “Elsa” on her name tag, gave a cheerful smile and greeting when we ordered our food. When my sundae accidentally had pecans on it another kind fellow, “AJ” on his name tag, happily took back the sundae and made a new one as originally requested! Great place! Great people!
Love oberweis products but every store has different reps and that is where it makes a difference. I guess the one in black uniform is kinda manager who was tooooo busy .not at all welcoming didn't bother asking if I'm a reward member which I was .took order and left before I swipe my card .didn't bother. Same time while waiting for my order a young girl in red came back and asked next customer very sweetly and proactively asked if he was a reward member....IT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Unfortunately the store was closed for unknown reason but drive through was open… so we waited in a long line for some Coconut Chocolate Almond…!!! We’d heard that it was discontinued but today the server said we could’ve had it as a scoop in a cone. We bought a pint to bring home before we found that out…!!! One negative is Oberweis seems to cut off different flavors in different seasons… lost Mango Pomegranate before the pandemic… :-(. But we keep persisting in going to try what they keep around. Let’s hope Mint Chip doesn’t go on the block!
My experience was so fun, I drove up to the speaker and heard “mhmhgjh” and said hello I placed my order not even knowing what the person on the other end was saying. Now this might be normal seeing as this was my first ever time going here, but this was just sad once that was done I waited at the window for 8minutes alone, no one was in the line except me and finally after 8 minutes she came over and said to move up front so I did. Another 4 minutes passed and nothing so I left, I had something at 12:30 and due to this waste of time I was late. I never expected to have my first review be bad but this was awful and a waste of time and money, but the entertainment of watching the girl at the window scoop the same container over and over again.
Normally it's a good experience, this time all of the prepackaged ice cream in the freezers were soft. They must be more careful when dealing with dairy products.

Great ice cream as always. But absolutely horrid wait time. Might as well bring a lawn chair and some snacks to pass the time as it's about one car every 7 minutes. Managers need to prioritize customers in the drive through.
I am sorry but I feel this is so overly priced that it's loosing it's appeal. I went there for an ice cream for my kid and what you get for what u pay, just is not worth it to me.
The order was mixed up, and the ice cream is… quite overpriced. Creamy and yummy! But also a bit stiff and definitely not a lot of ice cream in general.We wanted to pop by because Oberweis stretches generations in our group, but it wasn’t as good as a Portillos Strawberry Shortcake (I assume) or a Cookout shake (of basically any reality).Wouldn’t go again. But thanks for the experience.
