Food very good, beer excellent. One of the few places that has a stout other than Guiness. Service friendly and attentive, not too.
Outstanding establishment. Kevin, our server, was friendly and knowledgeable. I had the Texas Chop sandwich with a side of dynamite sauce. The sauce isn't intended for the sandwich but it complemented it nicely. Craft selection was vast and original. Nestled in downtown Glen Ellyn this place is a true gem. I'll be back.
I was not super impressed with the food. The brisket was very dry. Service was good but I felt like I was being rushed. Was very busy for a Monday night
Stopped by for an early dinner. Our server was really cool, genuine and friendly. The craft beers are interesting. We liked the vibe. I had the dynamo shrimp tacos and they were fantastic. We also tried a "lemonade" beer which was tart and delicious. It was a little loud (not very busy) but overall, great experience.
Awesome and friendly service!!! Wings are money. The honey garlic wings and the low and slow are a must have. Juicy and tender in house smoked brisket that keeps you asking for more and of course the Mac n cheese. If you haven't been here your missing out.
Excellent service, friendly environment, great food, good prices.. will definitely come back
Nobel House is usually good, but I’m not sure about what they did to the Cubano. Whatever hash or spread they decided to add absolutely ruined the sandwich. What a waste of good smoked pork. They’ve definitely gone downhill lately.
Nice beer selection covering a wide range of beer types. Smoked meats the specialty. Sports bar feel. Very roomy.
Amazing service from Sara and awesome foods
After an amazing dinner at Maize and Mash Friday night, our party of 8, decided to go to Nobel House for an after dinner drink. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the rudest, most disrespectful hostess. We explained that we just wanted to have a drink. The hostess informed us that the bar was full and bc of Covid, we could not stand at the bar. Fine, understandable. Seeing as the restaurant wasn't busy, we asked if we could sit at a table. Rather than answering us, she kept telling us that we couldn't sit at the bar, which we understood, we just wanted to sit at a table. She then she proceeded to say to me, in an incredibly rude tone "I'm not sure what you don't understand??..." I was shocked and confused as to why she even made the remark to me. She made other incredibly rude and disrespectful remarks to other people in our party, so we decided to leave. She continued to speak to us with attitude and in a snarky tone, she said "buh bye!". The last time I was in Nobel House, it was empty, we simply wanted to support the business, but it was the hostess and her attitude that turned us away. Fire n Wine greeted us with open arms, kind, warm, friendly staff and I'm sure they appreciated our business. We stayed there for almost two hours. We all agreed that we will never step foot in Nobel House again. Horrible hostess!!!
