We love this great little pub in downtown Glen Ellyn. We've never had any food there, but what other people around us were eating tonight looked amazing. Great cocktails and good beer selection. Perfect location, easy to walk to.

The bartender with long black hair is very rude to guests and very openly talks to guests with an attitude. If you like tipping rude employees then this is the place for you. I wouldn’t recommend going there. The food is good but not worth it to pay to be mistreated by a member of staff. Also never received so much as a hello or thank you from that particular bartender. That person really needs and attitude adjustment and a reality check. There are better places out there, save your money.

The food was delicious but the service wasn't the best. I am very easy to please and never usually give under 5 stars but it took a hour just to get the check

My Western Burger was excellent, and the fresh cut fries were excellent++.

OMG! Best burger I have EVER eaten!!! I personally love the Pear and Goat cheese, husband loves the Western. Made to order! They offer a pretzel bun too and if you are gluten free like my son and I, they give extra lettuce for a lettuce wrap! FYI, the bacon wrapped dates are fantastic!!! Plus you can catch your favorite teams playing on the surrounding TVs! Great place, good food, awesome service!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My friends and I had just finished doing an escape room on a Sunday morning and wanted some food. We arrived here around 11:30am and it was not crowded. As the noon hour approached it did fill up with people but not terrible. There was also an Illini basketball game showing so it was probably busier than usual.Part of the reason (really the main reason) for a 4/5 was our waitress. She was slow and it took her about 15 minutes to finally take our order. After we got our drinks, when she finally came back over, her line was "oh , did you want to order some food?" I get this is a bar/grill but it was as if she assumed we were only there for drinks. I will say this thinking about it now. This bar is in an obviously highly affluent area of the chicago suburbs. Two of my friends were dressed a bit on the grungier side and I just had on a t-shirt and jeans. I didn't even think about this at first but as we were leaving I looked around and most people were in their polos and pull overs. I'm not saying this was the reason for us not getting great service but it did seem to factor in.Our waitress was inattentive allowing my lemonade to sit empty for 10 minutes. It took longer than normal to get her back to our table for the check and to get to go boxes. The food was amazing though. Probably the most amount of fries in a meal that I have had in a long time. The menu though is another tick off the star review. You have to scan a QR code and look at it on your phone. Maybe this is lingering covid ideas but I dislike that greatly. If I'm going to pay the high prices for your food; give me a damn physical menu. There was a little arcade area in the back with a Simpsons pinball machine, a golden tee game and another multicade. Good fun. Overall I would go back for the food, but when we walked outside (it was a warm sunny day) it was just picture perfect rich white suburbia. Just something to keep in mind, not a reason to stay away.

Good food. They have a big menu with a lot of options. Tons of burgers to choose from. Rating down 1 star because it was super busy and we had to wait outside for a looooong time, even though other people who came after us got seated first. Not sure what happened there.

Main Street Pub is a first class establishment located right on Main Street in downtown Glen Ellyn. They have dozens of beers on tap, as well as wine and a full bar. More importantly, they have well over 10 phenomenal burgers to choose from and not a single one is bad. If that’s not enough, they also have a burger of the month. Plus brats, great appetizers, the best fries in town, and always fast and friendly service no matter how busy they are. And they pull it all off without feeling like pretentious modern pub type of place. The vibe is perfect and I cannot recommend it enough. For my money the Nuevo Rancho takes the burger #1 spot.

I regret not taking a photo and even worse...not getting our servers name. We just stopped in for drinks on our annual Valentine's Day pub crawl. Nice environment and wonderful, courteous service kept us there. Top notch Guinness pour as well. St. James Gate would be proud. We'll be back soon to check out food and more drinks.

Good for the experience, wish there was a different side instead of fries for the sandwiches and burgers. The sesame chicken salad and the espresso martini We're definitely some favorites.
