To my fellow vegetarians: this was the BEST meatless burger I’ve ever had!! I ate at Get Smashed for the first time tonight and was incredibly impressed. I always feel that meatless burgers are dry or they end up falling apart when eating it. The meatless smash burger was DELICIOUS. I’m so excited we found this burger place and cannot wait to go back. The fries are amazing as well!
This burger restaurant is so nice. They do not have a wide and different variety on their menu, as it is just basically a menu with different kinds of burgers, sides, and drinks. Even so, it is still a great restaurant because, first of all, it is clean and it has a nice, cute space with a very pleasant interior. Second of all, the customer service here is so great, like the staff are very friendly, attentive, helpful, and accommodating. The service is also fast despite the restaurant being busy, and even if the food is made to order, there is only a short wait, and I have not really waited longer for my food whenever I eat here. They were open at the time I wanted some good burgers, particularly for lunch, dinner, or late dinner. This is definitely because their burgers are amazingly delicious. One of the things I like about their burger is just the taste and the flavor of it. The burgers are always cooked perfectly overall. The patty is smashed, making it really taste good, and even if it is smashed, it still gets a nice portion. It is also perfectly seasoned. My favorite is their glenbard smasher, which includes three smashed patties and which, for me, is the best burger that the restaurant has. Highly recommended.
I can probably count on one hand how many cheeseburgers I eat in a year. I never crave them...except apparently from Get Smashed. I had my first cheeseburger about a week ago and I just finished eating my second. These burgers are delicious! They are so well seasoned and I think the bun has garlic butter on the inside. The fries and cheese sauce are really good as well. Definitely worth a try!
Today was the second time my husband and I went to this restaurant. They not only have amazing burgers so simple but delicious but also some of the best customer service I've ever seen. The cashier was overly friendly to everyone that walked in. Definitely a man who LOVES his job. He joked around with the kids, connected well with the adults. A lady walked in by herself carrying her baby and he offered to take her order from the seats so she didn't have to stand with baby. While it was busy, he still managed to visit every single table to make sure everyone was good.The 2 other people that were there, they were very focused on delivering the best quality food to every single customer. The man working the grill was there on our first visit, he was very nice talked to my husband and I, asked us how we found the place, what we thought of it. Talked to our son. They are just super genuine people and I will definitely keep making the 30 min drive just to get their burgers.
Best smash burger around. Order the burger the way it is on the menu. Doesn’t need any condiments. The cheese blend was perfect. The beef was cooked and flavored perfectly. Seasoned waffle fries were top notch as well.
This place is amazing! They offer Impossible Meat as well! The man in the front, likely the owner, is full of energy and proud of his product. He should be! If you are in Glen Ellyn, you have to come here. Best burgers in the chicago suburbs! Grab the waffle fries and beer cheese too!
I will not ever let a burger spot pass. I went in here for the first time. My friend recommended this spot and that is how I had known it. This is definitely a nice, clean and cozy burger spot. Their menu is just basically goes around burgers and some sides and the prices are quite fair and reasonable. The staff is friendly and attentive too. I wanted to try just their basic burger first as a start so I ordered the original smasher burger that comes with fries. It is super quick and my food was served. The burger definitely has a huge portion. The patty in it is seriously kind of bigger than its bun. It is hot and no other words to say but it is definitely delicious. Is it messy? Yes, it is a bit messy because of the grilled onion and I like it. The lettuce and the tomato in it are fresh and the meat is juicy that makes it perfect. The waffle fries are crispy and it is well seasoned but it tastes better with the sauce. I honestly love the burger in here and not just the burger but the overall service of this spot. I will definitely be back and I am so excited to try their other burgers. Highly recommended!
This is a family owned fast food restaurant. We like to support local businesses so we make a point of going to any new small business that comes on. They have a very small menu of 6 items. The burger was good but a bit too greasy. The menu is a bit on the expensive side. I do not mind it if the food is good. I think they need more items on the menu, and some that are more healthy. It would be hard to bring customers back with a limited menu. Just my 2 cents.
