Absolutely amazing! Food is great, cocktails are fabulous, and the service is too notch! Highly recommend!
Visited for the first time today; This place came highly recommended and they did not disappoint! Absolute delicious and our server Pedro was wonderful ! Will definitely return :)
Legitimately one of the best meals of my life! Everything from start to finish was amazing. Our server, Valerie, was great! She had perfect timing- not intrusive, but our drinks were never empty and our food came out in perfect time. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they surprised us with a complimentary dessert that was out of this world. We will absolutely be back!
We moved from Glen Ellyn a few years back ,but still head into town on occasion for the glorious Fire and Wine. It is absolutely perfect every time. The food is innovative, fresh, and always off the charts delicious, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is somehow upscale yet homey at the same time. We have never been disappointed in this wonderful place!
Our server was Stephanie, She was incredible. It was my first time bringing my friend to fire and wine and he’s hard to impress. Stephanie made the experience so good that he can’t wait to go back. I’ve always loved eating at fire and wine, easily one of my favorite restaurants, and people like Stephanie make it all the better. We can’t wait to come back next Tuesday to see her again. We LOVED HER. Incredible food as always, and the blue berry drink she recommended will live in my heart forever. Thank you guys for always putting out the best!
Wonderful food. A taste treat. Amazing service. Waitress Laura was very knowledgeable and personable. Love this place. Gnocchi were little warm pillows of deliciousness. Filet special was amazing. Desert was delicious.
I can't say enough about how wonderful Fire + Wine is. Great Food, impeccable service (Laura was by far the best server I have ever had) and great atmosphere. It was a little crowded on a Saturday night as expected. They do not take reservations but their website indicated you can call ahead and be added to the Priority Service list which allows you seating before walk-ins. The hostess indicated it was over an hour wait to the walk-ins but since I was Priority I was told 20 minutes but was actually seated within 10 minutes. We shared an appetizer and we both ordered the specials which Laura recommended . Everything was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. Desserts are great, our drinks were great (they make a perfect Old Fashion) and overall just a perfect 5 star evening.
My boyfriend & I tried Fire + Wine for the first time last year and fell in love. It has become our #1 choice for date nights. The atmosphere, food and service are outstanding and have been each and every time we’ve visited. They have a wide variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts (which is great for someone with allergies or dietary restrictions). We had made a reservation but had to wait about 10mins when we got there, which was really no problem at all! I love that there is a bar & an option to enjoy a few cocktails while waiting for your table.I really have to give a shout out to our waitress Rachael. She was absolutely AMAZING! She had the best personality, created fun conversation and was very cautious about my tomato allergy. She knew the menu front to back & everything in between. We wanted to try something new and asked for recommendations, and she had plenty. She was running around all night, but showed up to our table with a smile every single time & popped in frequently to make sure we were doing okay. I know working in the service industry is challenging right now, so I give everyone that continues to show up so much credit.
First and foremost this is my first review on google as I am a pretty patience and understanding consumer. However, the restaurant informed us that the reservation we made a few days ago was NOT a reservation but actually a “call ahead time”. This was NOT communicated to us that the restaurant was no longer taking reservations but rather taking preferred seating named “call ahead time”. We ended up waiting over a half hour after that “call ahead time”. In addition, the facility requires masks to enter in which ALL 5 hostess were wearing masks incorrectly (below the nose) which defeats the purpose of keeping customers safe. Please re-educate the staff on proper mask wear so customers can enjoy the restaurant safely. In addition, please educate staff on proper communications skills when it comes to differentiating reservations versus “call head times” when making reservations. We understand that staffing shortages are real and can complicate the working environment during this pandemic, but proper communication goes a long way if you want customers to continue to return. We all understand these challenges when communicated honestly. This communication takes little time and effort and is truly appreciated by all. Thank you.
