Food is pretty bland/average but fine… service is a bit spotty depending on who is tending bar or waiting tables. Not cheap so food really should be better. They have numerous flatscreens but its not really a sports bar as they dont keep the volume on for games but instead play top40 type stuff. Been here many times with friends because of the convenience for driving distance but this last time was my last. Time to find a higher quality spot.

And I'm the person that usually takes food home but when I'm here, it's so good I finish all of it. Yes then I regret eating all of it after, but I have a hard time stopping lol. What can I say about Ellyns that has not already been said. Great food! Great service! Awesome beer selection that is constantly being updated. Super friendly, I bring my kids here all the time. and they enjoy the food. The waitstaff is on point. Bartender is amazing! This is a hidden gem that everyone needs to try.
This is one of my favorite places to visit when I come to town. The beer selection is top notch. The food is delicious. Mindy and Lauren provide excellent service. Always a good experience.

Ellyns is a hidden gem you need to experience for yourself. This place is great for a small bite to eat or taking the whole family out for dinner. Very kid friendly, my kids like coming here and ask to go to Ellyns all the time. Lots to choose from. Lots of different beers. Staff are friendly as can be. Don’t wait. Check this place out!
On Saturday I went to this location with my husband after a friend recommended this place. We were going with high expectations but what we got was something different. I don't know if this lady was really a manager or if she was just a rude employee there but the whole time she made us feel very uncomfortable. She was rude and disrespectful and lack of professionalism. Then we noticed a family being seated next to us in the back and this same person started screaming and talking down to them over 2 small children eating outside food. I understand restaurants may prohibit this but there is a way to talk to people. She was very hostile and seem to have anger issues. She just as rude to them as she was to us. This so called manager is the reason why I would never come here nor recommended to anyone. The food may have been good but the overall experience was awful. If this person who claims to be the manager continues to be hostile and unprofessional, no one will want to come to this establishment.
Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. The Italian egg rolls are one of the most amazing things I have ever had, I actually bring people there just to try the egg rolls!
