I had the trout and my husband had the filet special. Awesome dinners, perfectly cooked, flavors were well balanced. We will definitely be back next time we're in town. Definitely recommend.
1st time visiting. Food and staff was excellent. Definitely our new go to dinner place.
Excellent service. The menu seemed small but there were also a few specials available. Everything we ordered was great, even stayed for dessert. They were also accommodating to our party of 6 on a Saturday night - other restaurants were packed. We sat near the bar, so as the night dragged on it got a little bit louder. Extensive selection of liquor and our waiter was very willing to make substitutions and adjustments to the cocktails as requested.
We love the Walrus room! The food is amazing. Friday fish fry Is a light airy take on a classic. The burger is amazing. We love the drinks. The servers and bar tenders are very nice, a fun atmosphere. Love it!
Unique cocktails! Great service! Very good food-we had Friday fish fry, halibut with mushrooms, bok choy, 2 appetizers-Cajun Rangoon, Barrata with greens-all very good.
The food is perfect. The drinks are exquisite. The ambience is no fuss. And Devin is all that. Our dinner party had as fine an experience as we've had anywhere (and between us we've been everywhere).
Wow. Previous to this we would have consistently given this place and the staff a 5 star +. drive all the way there , rave about it to outOf town company. And walk up to door to be told. Private party. Sorry not interested in your business. Nothing on the web site at all. And I looked to see what time was opening to get there early ! Weekly if not twice a week customers that you just lost. Never again. Who books a whole place on Friday night and doesn’t post on web site.You really have some explaining and customer service recovery to attempt. Hope it works for others. Totally insulted
My favorite place bar none! Steak Frites is the best! Order the mussels with well done frites and have Matt make your favorite cocktail! The entire family and staff are awesome! Treat yourself to The Walrus Room!!

This restaurant is a hidden gem on State St. Great ambiance and friendly service. Food quality was exceptional, especially for the size of each dish. I definitely recommend the braised short rib, it simply falls apart.
