I ordered shrimp n grits, it's listed as a small plate, which was smaller than a typical appetizer, but the cost was like an entree $23, I could see if it was a nice portion and filling, but it wasn't. I've had better shrimp n grits, I was a little disappointed
Very lovely place, excellent food and drinks. Our waiter was fantastic. We had a group of 5 and had some difficultly finding a place to go, happened to find this gem and very happy we did!!
Nice place, Louisiana style cooking. I had baby back ribs, they were very good. However, others I was with had even better dishes. Not cheap.
The food here is exceptional. I don’t really like grits but ❤️❤️❤️ the shrimp and grits here. One issue. A plain ice tea is $5.00 which is ridiculously expensive so order water or ask about drink costs.

Went here for dinner recently and had a really wonderful time. It's a beautiful atmosphere with outstanding food. I had the shrimp and grits with alligator bites. Really great flavors. My wife had the jambalaya and she really enjoyed that. Drinks were great too, the sazerac was fantastic! Perfectly made! We can't wait to go back!
I made reservations for my work dinner. For 14 people. They stated they needed a credit card to hold if in case we do not show up for reservation. Totally agree with that. They immediately took the $100 out of my account. Ok fine maybe I thought I will get the money back when we arrive to our actual dinner reservations. I was wrong. I have called restaurant 5 different times to ask about my $100. They always say the manager is out, the manager will get message and call me back, or the manager is busy. Blah blah blah. It has been since December 10th and no has resolved anything.
First, It is a lovely structure with a cozy atmosphere, but more importantly the food was good as well as the glass of wine! The Sprimp & grits small plate was excellent and made a perfect size entree. Regarding masking up the staff two years into the pandemic, I don’t see the point, wear a mask yourself if you are paranoid about CoVid, just know a cloth mask is theater, not Science
This restaurant is literally our favorite date night spot. The food is superb. The drinks are amazing. The service is quick, friendly and respectful. We are repeat customers and we will continue to be! I personally love the crab cake sliders, the hurricane drink and the biscuits. If I could give more than a 5 star I would.
I’ve been numerous times and the food is always amazing! I’ve tried so many different dishes and everything has tasted great. Drinks are awesome too. Food and drink would get five stars! That being said, this was my first time dining in-person in over a year. Vastly disappointed that not even one employee was wearing a mask. I was shocked as I have been out to eat in the area elsewhere. I had planned my birthday dinner there with my parents and in-laws, all of whom are older and some have health issues. I never would’ve taken my family out to dinner here for those reasons. I will say that the tables are pretty spaced out but I was uncomfortable with the waitress and staff coming that close without masks.
