Buttermilk was trendy, attractive and well serviced spot. We enjoyed the brunch and the food was pretty yummy. In local scale they are a good 4.5-5 and on a larger scale they are a solid 4! Our host was so kind and attentive. The set up is pretty neat with booths all around the space by the windows that fits 4 or a smaller size 6 people. The seats in the middle were good for small or larger groups. They also had a house Jam which was pretty good.
Very good restaurant! They have some great GF options such as pancakes and grilled cheese. I opted for the pancakes which you can get with chocolate chips, blueberries, strawberries or banana or plain. Very large portions!
Food was great! Lots of seating but make sure you plan ahead as they get busy on the weekends. Waitress was super helpful and gave us great insight on the menu as well as tips on some of the food items! Menu is comforting as it’s items you relate to, but they have a unique take on each item! The Stuffed Breakfast Biscuit was incredible and could easily feed two! Pancakes were also delicious!
The Holy Moly skillet is excellent. The steak was well seasoned, the eggs perfectly medium and runny with a healthy bit of avocado all on seasoned potatoes. The biscuit had a honey butter glaze that I wasn't a fan of. The inside had a good flavor though. The buttermilk pancakes taste great and the middle was very fluffy and light. I think they could use a little more butter or oil on the cooking surface to get the outside a little more crisp so it doesn't tear the middle apart. With the large portions, i have plenty for another meal that I'm looking forward to.
Great breakfast/brunch spot. Cute atmosphere with large menu and great service. We ordered several different items to share as we struggled to each pick one meal. Prices are good for the large portions!
Really nice restaurant in downtown Geneva. Food is great (the potatoes are lightly seasoned, which isn't always the case in breakfast restaurants), and the coffee is nice and strong. I had the s'mores blended coffee, and it was amazing. Pancakes, french toast, and eggs were all made to perfection! Eggs made to order, and the chicken skillet I had was just enough. The breaded chicken is topped with their own gravy, and made this very tasty. They do get busy, so gett6on their wait list is recommended
Our nearby Naperville location was closed due to a fire. My husband suggested the Geneva location. There was a bit of a wait…..37 minutes!!!! Angela, the hostess, quoted us a 20 minute wait. But baby!! The food was worth the wait. The hostess brought out these hot and tasty biscuits on the house of course! They were buttery and moist. The food was delicious!! Our food was hot, delicious and seasoned well. My lavender limoncello was refreshing.
We passed this place up going somewhere and decided to give this place a try. It did not disappoint. It was so delicious. Definitely will be coming back. The waitress we had was so friendly and the busboys very attentive in asking if we needed anything.
Always amazing food. You will always have enough for another meal. Service has also been very good never disappointed
