Friendly service and the pizza was delicious. So funny to me that we found a Detroit style pizza joint on my kids' first trip to Chicago, but they don't like deep dish so we ended up here. Had tables for us at 8 pm on a Saturday and our food came out pretty quick. Single serving was enough for my teens to split, but they were still a bit hungry. Entire Greek pizza was too much by one slice for my wife and I too finish. There were plenty of microbrews to choose from too. Definitely check them out if you're in Evanston.
This is some of the most expensive pizza I’ve ever purchased. I guess that’s to be expected for the area?It’s true Detroit style pizza, just like I was hoping for. Nice crips edges and corners, edge to edge cheese, sauce on top.
Was really excited to try this place. Finally we were able to order some delivery. $38 for a single all veg pie, but I was still excited about it and looking forward to giving it a try. Hopefully it would be worth it. All this only for the food to arrive ice cold. What a sad experience. Luckily GrubHub was able to give a full refund. Probably won't try again considering they put all that work into their food only to send it to me cold.

We showed up expecting an actual restaurant... The website and the person answering the phone even implied reservations were a good idea. But when we got there, it was literally 3 or 4 tables in a tiny room next to a large pickup counter. This is clearly a takeout place. The menu is full of beer, some canned cocktails (yuck), canned wine or overpriced wines by the bottle. No wines by the glass at all. No ambience to speak of. We didn't stay for the pizza and frankly, nobody was very welcoming to is anyway. I don't really understand if you could get what you want on a pizza- they had all of their own combinations listed. Anyway, it's nothing like its sister restaurant. We won't be back.
Used to love this place; live down the road and order a couple times a month. One of the best Detroit styles in Chicago…And then they got more well known and lately (4-5 months) it has been way below par. Not baked through. Crust soggy. Vegetables and meat not done. Really disappointing.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The absolute best pizza!! I will drive from Milwaukee just for this PIZZA!! I crave it weekly!

If you ever have the chance to visit Evanston, check out this restaurant to taste the wondrous food that is made here. The ambiance and service are great! The pizza is just as good, if not better. Detroit-style pizza is generally defined as a rectangular pizza with a thick crust that is crispy and chewy. We had the potato & broccoli and the burrata margherita dishes which were very delicious. Although these beloved styles of pizza are just food, Andy P made it art… Andy was our server. A very good server in fact. His calm/hospitable demeanor made the chilly night warm. The pizza made an impression on my palate, but Andy made an impression on our hearts and minds- changing the outlook we had on life. His soft spoken words guided the menu to us just like how Ferdinand Magellan circumnavigated the globe. His suggestions made us feel like he knew us. In a way this review is a love letter to Andy… from my entire group.
