Fast Food Hot Dogs Burgers

I went to this restaurant like a month ago and I just felt like writing this review. The restaurant is a small spot I found in Evanston. The place was really small, but it was clean and it was the only spot I found that was near my location, so I did not bother looking for another one because I liked the menu they had. Their menu is basically a selection of hot dogs, burgers, and the like. They have a wide selection, and I just ordered a hot dog and fries. The service is definitely quick, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It was so quick that I ordered and got my food in just a few minutes. There is nothing really special about their food, and I can describe it as a nice and decent hot dog. It is good, yes, but I definitely like their fries better. Their fries were fresh-cut and were well-seasoned and crispy too. It is really a good spot and definitely perfect for something quick and good food.

When I lived the area, I went here frequently for lunches. While visiting I stopped by. The food is still great. My favorite is the cheddar burger with everything. Same person behind the grill for over twenty years. Wished there was a place like this where I live. Parking is very limited. You may have to park on the adjacent street to the west, but not far.

I love this place!! Haven't had this buffalo chicken sandwich this good in years!!

Nice little place for gyros and burgers. I think they're good with shakes too.

The best fries anywhere. Very good dogs and burgers too. It's a tiny space. The owner is typically to busy to hold your hand while ordering (deducted 1 star) so ordering ahead is best.

Absolutely awsome char jumbo dogs and skin on cheese fries (made with real cheddar cheese) are the best in Evanston. Which is saying a lot given that I grew up in the heart of cheese country, Wisconsin.

I grew up in this area and always knew this as a solid joint. That hasn't changed. I recently visited from the east coast, with my daughter, hitting several venues in search of an exceptional Chicago style dog, and Little Island was the best of them all. Excellent price, too, and lots of other stuff on the menu.

I wanted to like this place, been driving past it as long as I can remember, but when I finally got food here it was disappointing. Everything was ok, but not good. For example, I got a hot dog & there was so much celery salt on it I could barely taste the hot dog & had to down my whole drink because of the saltyness.
