Amazing spot for great drinks, amazing food, awesome atmosphere, and friendly staff! Loved this place, definitely coming back with friends! Shoutout to Dom! Dom was super helpful and so friendly- really gave us a warm, inviting vibe that makes us want to show this place to everyone.
My boyfriend and I went here for dinner Monday night. Great atmosphere and everyone was very friendly! Our waiter was AMAZING, super attentive and even told little anecdotes to make us laugh. I got the buttermilk chicken sandwich which was very tasty but the food that was truly amazing was actually the carmelized cauliflower! I had some of my boyfriend's fries that were also very yummy. They also had a great drink menu with one of my favorite hard ciders on tap! Thanks for a great experience!
This was our 2nd time patronizing Ten Mile House. The brunch menu was tasty and offers some nice alternatives/variations on traditional American fare. They have quite a few beers on tap and bottled and their homemade lemonade is quite good. A nice lunch/brunch place in north Evanston.
Difficult review to write, because I think you really have to order well. I have not in the past. However, if you order the White Pizza and a basket of fries and a local draft of Temperance, Alarmist or Sketchbook, you'll come back again and again. It's 5 stars for me and the rest I've had is 3 or under.
Asked for medium cooked burger, got a burnt one, cooked to sh1t. And we were rudely asked to leave 15 minutes after paying the bill. Not a good place to relax…. Flipping tables is their priority, not customer service. Our server went MIA for a really long time. Not worth the trouble.
This Ten Mile House is the best spot here in Evanston to grab some quality comfort food. They have here awesome burgers, fries, cool drinks, and others. All of their food on the menu is affordable and really worth a try. They have so huge selection of delicious and awesome snacks. Their burgers here are tasty, meaty, and delicious. Many people keep coming back to order their burgers again and again. It is so phenomenal and worth the price. They also have fries that is so flavorful, crispy, and always new. You can also try their different cool drinks, they have soda, coffee, etc. Ten Mile House has everything that can surely satisfy our cravings. In such a reasonable price you can literally try everything they have on their menu. Everything at this place is exceptional and incredibly delicious. You all will absolutely love the whole place and also you will get many reasons to go back. Thank you for outstanding and wonderful service Ten Mile House! Thank you and keep it up! Stopped for a late dinner after being at Evanston Hospital all day. I had fried chicken tacos and my daughter had grilled salmon salad. Good beers on tap too. Both were very good. Friendly and fast service was appreciated!
My wife spoke so highly of this place so I had great expectations. However my food was ok. And that could have been me too. I really wanted a salad and I hate vinegar all the the dressings are vinegar except Cesar lol. Then I had a side of breakfast sausage that came out like a quarter pounder.Pros: Great portions , salad was also huge.Not busy at 1 pm.Price was goodClients seemed to love it. That's why this could have been me. 99% of the time I never order salad and what I was going to order was out of it.Cons: could have been a new server or just bad day so not upset, however she put my salad in as no dressing so I had to ask for dressing then my wife wanted hot sauce and she said yeah give me 2 mins and she forgot to get it. Then we flagged her down and got it. Like I said not a big deal. It happens.The sausage was literally a massive hamburger no ketchup no nothing just a pork burger in a bowl. See pic below.
