Great service! The people working here are super friendly and helpful. The florentines are delicious and everything is priced really well. This bakery is a treasure in the neighborhood.
Super cute cookies and treats for all occasions! They will also last a few days if you’re trying to regulate a little one’s sugar intake ?
After disappointment at famous Evanston bakery (was told they had specific donut and to just come in the morning, when arrived and asked for, 2 staff talked about and didn't know what I was even asking for), I decided to go to Tags. Had good experience with them in past so figured give them a try. They didn't have what I wanted, but Miriam was kind and attentive enough to offer to check with cook. To my happy surprise, they're willing to make what I want!!! I've been driving from Evanston to Palatine for this particular donut. Would be great if I can get something comparable or better and do business locally. Highly recommended!!!
Tag's is the best bakery! They are definitely quality, and it is important to support small businesses.
Absolutely terrible service. If you place a ‘BOGO’ sign between two pies, one would assume this would apply to the pies. The lady said it was misplaced. There is another ‘BOGO’ sign on top of the pie behind her and said it was misplaced again. By this time the staff person got annoyed that we kept pointing out the Buy One Get One free offer and they yelled at us that we should give them a break because they are busy! Never coming back here!
An excellent bakery and cafe with high quality, delicious food and baked goods. And the specialty cakes are amazing!
Got a cherry muffin and an iced mocha. Both were delicious. Will definitely be back.
Everything at Tag's is delicious! We ordered a large amount of items for a bridal shower at our office. Quiches, cookies, coffee cake, petite fours (which they put cute pink bows on) Everyone was so impressed at how it turned out
Friendly people, cute space, but the cookies I had do not compare to Hewn or Benison's.
Bought a cake here. Sign on window both acknowledges CDC has removed mask mandate, but we're going to require one anyway. OK. Private busienss can do whatever they want. But I'll not be coming back. Went into their cafe next door for a coffee and breakfast sandwich. took mask off to eat. Went to the bathroom and stopped by the counter to compliment the chef (Sandwich was good). I'd forgotten to put mask back on. He says "We require you to wear a mask". I says "Sorry..." as I immediately reach into my pocket for my mask. He yells : "And RIGHT NOW!". So now in addition to not going back, I'm recommending others hit the many coffee shops within a door or two of this place.
