The restaurant is pretty good and has a lot of space. The mushrooms are delicious and chicken spread on rice is recommended too.
Loved the babaganoush and hummus. I had the grilled eggplant wrap. Lots of lettuce, not so much eggplant. Service was fine. The restaurant was clean, well appointed with tablecloths, napkins and a pianist. I would try something different next time.
A beautiful restaurant in the beautiful city center of Evanston ❤️ . I would like to mention a few points about the buffet of Reza’s restaurant . Food was ok but cold like room temperature and the most important thing is that food were not covered with the special glass in order to prevent from contamination also spoons and forks were not covered. In general anything related to Hygiene wasn’t good!! No hand sanitizer no soap in the washroom ( was some kinda liquid) but was extremely diluted with the water ?, so I would say no soap in the washroom . That’s all I wanted to mention ?

We had more food than we knew what to do with. The stuffed pepper apps were great. Hummus was also great.

We ordered pick up yesterday evening. A lamb kebab not particularly good. However the so called fillet kebab was everything but fillet. Very rough and chewy meat. The dill rice - tasteless.Will never buy again.
Food Quality not as good as Chicago location's quality has beenWe've been fans of Reza's since Ontario St. downtown in the 1990's.We ordered our usual favorites from this Evanston location and were disappointed that the quality did not match that of the downtown locations and so we will be avoiding this location.Feta cheese appeared fake, lesser quality than before (It was a solid cheese. Feta is not supposed to be solid white. It has holes and a better taste than what we got)Shrimp was old and mushy, not tender as beforePuzzled that soups were not included with meals as it was before.Aside than these disappointments, the chicken and steak are still the best.
No heat on the restaurant! Even colder food!!! Have you seen kebabs at room temperature?!! Horrible Soltani Kebab we did send it back. Don't go there
