Many restaurants have one or two items I really like but this one has way more for me even though the menu is not super long..for example the salmon and seafood chowder, the ciderday salmon or plank salmon with horseradish potatoes, the the Polenta cake with shrimp ( in photo), coconut panko shrimp as well as burgers and pulled pork. Consistently good food and a nice and fresh house salad. I love the small plates and appetizers, they are perfect smaller entrees. Craft beers on tap...
Outdoor dining was perfect and the service was even better. Very kind, friendly, accommodating, and professional. Menu read very well and was almost too good to be true. Food was good too. I don’t think the food tasted quite the way the menu represented it though. Mild in flavor if not almost flavorless. Presented well and we had a good time nonetheless.
Was there for Mother's Day and the "buffetbrunch" was AWESOME ! The food was amazing. They had everything! Well prepared and tasteful and well presented.I will be back !!!
We were back in my hometown to see a show at SPACE and picked out this restaurant from many contenders in the area. My wife ordered a special, crusted Trout, and I the on- menu sauteed Trout. Both were excellent! We had great service, the room was inviting and relaxing. And frankly, it was surprisingly inexpensive for this area. My only criticism (and it is a minor one) is that a menu this good and interesting calls for a bit more of a wine list. What they have is fine, but more choices couldn't hurt. I highly recommend Prairie Moon.
Its Apr 16th andthis place still requires a yellow star for entry. I hope this establishment goes under and everyone loses money. You ppl are the problem.
Prairie Moon has been a staple for years. When I don't know what I want to eat, it's great because they have a little bit of everything! I love the burgers, the fish tacos and the painted soup. The service is always helpful and friendly... and added bonus during this pandemic I truly appreciated delivery and pickup which always included crispy fries!
I was not impressed with the steak but my friends’ orders seemed better, overall we were a group of over 20 people and they were very accomodating and helpful. It is a good spot for student events.

Outstanding service, excellent food preparation and presentation, and delightful atmosphere. A brisk delivery service was noted. Love Prairie Moon!
