We visited this place because we heard they had good Szechuan food, usually we drive to Chinatown to get the real deal. We arrived and we’re told we could sit anywhere, fine. We sat there for 25 minutes without anyone acknowledging that we were there, even though 2 other couples had walked in after us and were taken care of. We walked out and went to Lao Sze Chuan down the street. Would never go there again or recommend this place to anyone.

Good food and dim sum , but terrible service . Waitstaff clueless and could not get orders right Took an hour and 45 minutes for Dim Sum lunch ?

I can't believe this restaurant only gets 4.3 stars. Be prepared. All the dishes are not only spicy but may made your tongue numb because of the Sichuan Pepper. Please order Hot pot Fish! This will blow your mind! This is definitely the restaurant that I would like to revisit to explore more dishes! Great job!

Food is great! But 1 star for their delivery service. DO NOT order from their website. Writing this while i'm still waiting for the order. Its been almost 90mns since order was placed. Called their kitchen to check on the order status, was kept on call for 15 mns with no answers. Terrible experience!

I absolutely love this place!! The food is authentic and delicious! The quality of the ingredients and the flavors are on point and I'm so happy to discover this place as I no longer have to make the hike to Chinatown for authentic Schezuan food. Everything was made really well. The service was also really nice and the place is also clean and they take proper precautions during covid. I highly recommend!!! We got #58 which is a Chef's Special of beef and vegetables such as exotic mushrooms cooked in a stone pot (my favorite). We also got the Sour fish soup with mustard greens and the Dry chilli wood ear mushrooms (omg so good!!) And the kids got more basic Chinese foods and dime sum. So happy!!!

Maybe I just ordered wrong but I was very disappointed. The hot tea was delivered cold, though the replacement was fine. The ribs with black bean sauce were all fat, the curdled egg with pork was tasteless. No one asked how my food was.

This was barely mediocre. I ordered General Tau's kitchen and got generic breaded chicken without the slightest taste of ginger. An orange sauce, obviously from a can, had been poured on so that it was indistinguishable from orange Szechuan chicken. Finally, the potstickers were inedible. If you know Chinese food, I wouldn't recommend this place.

This is my go-to-place for Chinese food. So authentic! We live in Chicago proper, but still drive up to Evanston to eat here often. Their beef dish is amazing, so tender and well spiced. A real gem!

Excellent food and service! Only place that gets kung Pao chicken right

I waited an hour for an ubereats delivery order that was said to be ready to pickup. This restaurant really has some big issues with staffing, business competencies, and basic customer service.
