One of the best coffee shops in downtown Evanston. Great place to hang out, meet friends or do some work. Lots of students and faculty from nearby Northwestern University. Part of a national chain but this feels like an independent coffee shop. One of the two original Peet's locations in the Chicago area, so it has a unique coffee brewing machine that makes a superior cup of brewed coffee that's better than any other Peet's location, or the brewed coffee at Starbucks.

I had gotten the plant based sandwich today. Somehow another customer picked my sandwich, went through it & realized it wasn’t his… He ended up with 2 sandwiches while I had to wait a little longer for mine accompanied by a “sorry”

I love there coffes....What else can I say!....

I really really love this coffee.Ok in the last 4 months I have ordered 3 ice Carmel mach. Everyday for my employees. In 6 days of being open I may get 2 made correct a week. But today is it for me. I ordered 3 they all look different and they all taste like coffee with cream not sweet or anything.

The only coffee I get from there is the holiday spice anything else I don't get

I was filled with Enthusiasm was I saw this coffee shop in Evanston, but I was disappointed with the careless service and the average taste of coffee!

One of the baristas just walked around the store, yelling that people need to wear masks if they are not actively drinking or eating.I'm sorry, but no other place does that. If your staff is that scared then just close your inside dining. Am I supposed to move my mask up and down every time I take a sip? And that's going to keep everyone safe?No thanks, I'll be frequenting one of the other 10 great coffee shops in the area, will not going back there until masks aren't required anymore.

During a visit one person from the staff came out screaming "If you are not actively eating or drinking pout your mask on" Like in very very bad tone and very angry. These are times where we should be profesional and specially calm in managing covid relate subject. Not just because your business will depend on it but for safely itself. You can get better result asking friendly, putting signs outside, training the cashiers to explain to customers that you have a very strict policy about mask usage.I can think that this person has a very bad experience with covid and I definitely don't want to this person to loose her job but, definitely need to learn how to address customers. For me, and my friends. This was the last time in this place.
