Time of day makes a difference in your experience. The food is very good and it’s an easy place to sit and hang out with friends and family. But, the wait to get your food can be a while. My wife and I waited 40 minutes, on a Saturday morning, to get our food after we placed the order. The crepes are excellent. A warm, buttered English muffin came with our order and it was a wonderful change from toast. Their pancakes are among the best in the Chicago area.

Breakfast Skillets taste great to start the day off strong. I got the Gypsy skillet and the flavors were great. May be a little heavy and salty for someone looking for a refresher, but Le Peep has a variety of other options to choose from.

Great family breakfast spot. I recommend asking about the pancake of the month. It is also very reasonably priced. I tried the harvest hash skillet with pancakes.

An Evanston tradition! Skillets are legendary, the service is fast and delightful. Always worth the wait, even if there’s a wait. Don’t miss this place for breakfast/brunch if you’re in the neighborhood.

Jesus was a wonderful server. Food was excellent! Large portions. Food was too good to waste.. We took a lot to our hotel ( thank goodness for hotel fridges)

Pancakes were excellentSkillets and cornbeef hash plate were also very good. Our waiter was very nice.Great value ! It was a Sat we had no wait at 920 but by 11 wait was at least 25 min which is still ok

Great breakfast restaurant! You REALLY get your money'sworth!

Nice little friendly neighborhood place that I like going to for breakfast. Very clean. Especially the bathroom! They keep this place up. Been coming here 20 + years. I like that that they really maintain the place. A lot of restaurants start to deteriorate internally but do nothing to keep up appearances while collecting the money and going up on price! This place gives you value all around. That's with food and the environment. I'm not crazy about their coffee, but love everything else about this place. Good staff.

Great service always clean and quick with a larger portion. Food is always constant and good. We have ate here many times after a Saturday football game. Come early or you will wait to get in but definitely worth the waiting.

I'd been craving eggs benedict for so long, and this place delivered. Hollandaise was excellent and they served the eggs with tomatoes/hash browns/fruit. Service was very good and they enforced mask-wearing, which means a lot to me these days.
