I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. I ordered the Irish Pub burger through DoorDash, I asked to have my burger prepared well done. When the burger was delivered I was beyond really hungry. The burger was not well done, in fact it was the total opposite. It seems like they only browned both sides of the burger. The inside was rare. I called and spoke to the manager Zeff. I informed him that my food was poorly prepared and that I would be bringing that burger back to the restaurant for another one that would be prepared as I requested on the app. He assured me that it would be. I picked up the burger went home and opened the container. The burger was burnt/scorched. Even the bacon was burnt. Were they trying to teach me a lesson about not complaining about the Ill prepared food that I paid for?? Never again will I order from this place. It was a total waste of money. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
The cheese curds- Get 'em!! If you think culver's are good you're in for a wakeup call. The beer selection is great, and the Candlelite white pizza is a crusty, cheesy, garlicky wonder. Pre-covid there were pool and arcade games on the top floor that I'm looking forward to playing again someday!
The team at Firehouse Grill helped us to deliver an outstanding 16th birthday party. The room is large enough to accommodate any sizes party. They also helped ensure all safety protocols werein place so we could keep everyone safe. At the same time, the Firehouse Team made the experience so much fun for the kids. Food was top notch and the service could not have been more attentive. Highly recommend!

Awesome food, really like the Chief Burger. Great bar with great service. Guinness on tap. Seating for family meals is also great. Always find friendly faces inside, can't say enough about the service. The staff is so nice. Great part of the community.

We were introduced to The Firehouse Grill by a local friend and enjoyed a lunch there on a mild October afternoon. We were seated on the patio. The restaurant is right next to the CTA Purple Line embankment and so periodically conversation would be interrupted by a passing train, but overall it was a very pleasant setting. Our party enjoyed the Quesadilla, the Gumbo and the Irish Pub burger. The first two were excellent--I think the Gumbo was outstanding. The Irish Pub burger was prepared as ordered and was tasty, but I still can't figure out what the connection between a hamburger with onions and a bun is with an Irish pub. The beer selection was excellent. We could not stay for a dessert; not sure there was either room nor time. I don't know that this would be my number one choice for lunch in Evanston, but it certainly did not disappoint. (It has been many years since I was in Evanston for any length of time, so must explore further on the next visit.)
This is the second time I've eaten here while visiting the area. I love the firehouse atmosphere, and the burgers are great! The pretzel buns are especially good.
