Great tuna melt ! Outdoor dining was awesome.

Lovely place. Wonderful food. I ordered some chicken stuff and.. no idea what I was or what was in it, which normally would terrify me, but it smelled good and tasted even better! I will be going back.Service was friendly. It was rather busy, in a good way.

We love the Farmhouse! Can't stop eating the cheese curds, the burgers are great and the salmon perfect. Tried it for breakfast too and the eggs benedict was great. The drink menu is creative and the bartender recommended the perfect drink as I'm not a big drinker. Creative, refreshing, delicious. Service as warm and friendly and other patrons were friendly as well, we got to know the people sitting next to us. Staff seems to enjoy working there and it shows which makes it a fun place to be.

Great find next to my hotel, service fast, great space, great food. Enjoyed the verity of drink options and specialty menu

Bomb AF food and drinks. Went in for lunch, left over an hour later after trying out a few things. That honey dip is tasty. The homemade soda wasn't sugary just tastefully delicious. The Farmhouse burger was a gourmet delight. Tender beef cooked to perfection with all the other ingredients packing a wallop of flavor. How I missed this spot is beyond me but going to make it a regular place to visit from now on. Next time I'll try that old fashioned I kept hearing about. *Chef's kiss*

Incredible wait staff AND fare. Second to none! We were served rapidly, food delivered piping hot and fresh. Highly recommend.

Disorganized. I called one day before to reserve a private room (Snug Room) for my reservation of 10 people. Because someone in our family has a disability, we almost exclusively reserve or rent private rooms at restaurants. So I was super happy when Farmhouse said they would be able to accommodate us - the hostess confirmed with her manager. I even offered to pay a fee to make sure we had the room, but I was assured it wasn’t needed. When we arrived to our reservation, the restaurant had just seated another party in the room. We were offered a table at another semi private location in the restaurant, but since that room was packed with other guests, it still proved challenging for our family member with sensory issues. Overall, that really dampened what would have been a great dinner otherwise.

A huge round of applause to #FarmhouseEvanston for impeccable service and some of the finest, most delightful-tasting food. ?????? My family and I made a last-minute decision to dine out, in celebration of my sibling's wedding that had taken place earlier the same day. We chose Farmhouse, based on it's location and appealing menu. Our party of nine (9) arrived around 6pm on Thursday evening, without reservations. The gentleman at the hostess stand greeted us kindly and worked diligently and expeditiously to accommodate us. He was able to arrange for tables to be pushed together so that we could all be seated together. Our server, Josh H. did a fantastic job managing our requests and meeting our various needs with patience and professionalism. I appreciated how kid-friendly this place is. We started with the Wisconsin cheese curds appetizer...the best I've ever had. The light, crispy, perfectly-seasoned batter coating the cheese and the delicious creamy dipping sauce made my taste buds dance and prompted me to really look forward to the main entrees. I ordered the Root Cellar Salad with chicken breast, and the others in my group ordered the Farmhouse Burger, Fish Fry [with a great gribiche sauce], Chopped Salad, Turkey Burger, and Steak. There was not one complaint. We were beyond satisfied with every bite. Fresh ingredients were evident as was the thought and care put into the combinations of ingredients, herbs, spices, etc. and meal preparation. I am a currently a resident of Georgia...have lived there 12 years, since departing Evanston. Every year that I come back home to Evanston I seek good eats reminiscent of the robust flavors found in many "southern" dishes. Farmhouse was totally on point. I'll definitely be returning. I'll also be sure to recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a great dining experience in the Evanston area.

A few of us went here for the first time last night to celebrate a friends birthday. We were all looking forward to trying a new place. All I can say is WOW, what a disappointment. We started out with the cheese curds which were very good. There were three of us, one got the Farmhouse Burger ($18), which he said was good but not any better than our usual burger place, which is half the price. Both my friend and I got the Pasta Paccheri ($21). When the server put the dish down in front of us it already looked pretty unappetizing. The dish was beyond bland, and it wasn’t even warm. The portion size was pretty small and neither one of us finished it. We were going to have dessert but decided to cut our losses and go to a place we were familiar with. This meal was close to $100 (including 2 beers) and with what we were served I felt completely ripped off. Maybe we ordered the wrong dish but I won’t be giving Farmhouse another try. How does this dish stay on the menu? Baffling!
