Had a really delicious charcuterie board here! We got it to go so we could eat at the beach and it was so good that it stopped people in their tracks to ask us where we'd gotten it! Also, the service was really incredible! The employees who took our order went above and beyond. Will definitely be going back!

Loved this place. This place has such attractive ambiance. I had some tea here and I can safely say that this is not just some other coffee shop serving you twining tea in a cup.The tea leaves served here are quality stuff.Great job!!

AMAZING PLACE!!! Great vibes. Design is great for meetings I just had my 2nd meeting of the day here. You can actually hear the person your with. Love the decor.

There is nothing like this place anywhere in the Chicago area. A homey, casual coffee/wine bar that has a friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere and a growing menu of tasteful small plates well done. What more can you ask for?

Multiple staff members greeted me upon entering and checked in throughout my stay. They were welcoming & friendly to all kinds of patrons— and had incredible patience with a particularly obnoxious one. Kudos to a new great spot!

Nice spot, cozy and quaint. I think the staff could do a better job at letting the customers know that although you may be doing work while enjoying your drink/snack you can't take up the space as if it's your office. This alleviates a possible negative response (customer to customer). Hooks under the bar would help. But all in all a nice spot. The staff was super nice. Good energy.

Lovely wine and nice soft drink selection. Beautiful decor and good atmosphere too. There was a mix up with my food order but the friendly staff resolved it for me and packed my sandwich to go as I was in a rush. It was delicious and based on that and the service I would definitely return. Strongly recommend.

Some feedback after 5+ visits. A note—my friends/ kids and I love the new place, the fact that there is now a coffee shop on Dempster again. We like the ambience; our comments are re food offerings and training.1. Offerings: A wider variety of items to eat, and more baked goods other than from Hewn, would be a welcome.2. Ability to warm up/ heat baked goods. My blueberry scone was cold and hard, a 30-45 sec warmup would have made the difference. Same with my friend’s chocolate croissant, hard on inside.3. Offering & staff training: Please Offer coffee on the menu after 3 pm — or else train baristas to efficiently make proper Americano in its stead. Went for an afternoon pick-me-up with daughter after school; was informed Pour stops brewing coffee at 3. Ok….I was offered an alternative, an Americano. Alright, I can do that. That’s when the fun started. 3-4 employees/ baristas had something to do in this process of making the Americano, with a lot standing around and talking—and 15 min later, a lukewarm Americano resulted. Also, not appealing that 4 people handled my coffee cup, including the cashier, before it got to me. My daughter was almost done with her tea and croissant by time I got my drink. I tried to drink it, but unsatisfyingly cold. Asked to heat it up/ couldn’t, no ability to heat/ barista offered a remake/ OK, but hopefully faster. Remake done fast, wonderful! But, Barista put in 2 shots of espresso, but then filled the entire remainder of the large cup up with hot water — it was hot, yeh! However, completely diluted by the excessive amount of hot water…sigh.4. Last item. Logistics: Busing the dishes. So, we had a lot of dishes — coffee cups, a tea setup with wood tray, snack plates, and water glasses. Took 3 trips to bus to the dirty dish station by the window. The two Bins were quite full and we were concerned about breaking dishes, esp as one bin is very low down.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere!

Just thrilled with this place! Great coffee!! And nice menu plus grab-n-go options in a lovely atmosphere that is both comfy and sophisticated. Very earnest staff too, eager to be helpful. With even more creature comforts in store as this new business continues to blossom - performances/readings, outdoor seating, etc. - I'm looking forward to regular visits! Thank you Pour!
