Amazing chicken place. I would strongly recommend to order with fries on the side. If not, the fries will be mixed with the chicken and get soggy.
The chicken here is delicious. Not many places that I could get good fried chicken in the area but this place fills that void. The only downside was the catfish. It was the first time trying it at Chicken Shack and that muddy flavor was intense, damn near overbearing.
The best chicken I’ve had in a long time unbeatable quality and great prices. Probably of the best fried chicken places in Chicagoland. Not to mention the extremely amazing and polite staff. 10/10
Wasn't impressed recently. Grew up eating this place every other day and love it. But since different management it doesn't taste the same. But I'm not giving up on this restaurant. Lol. Just went in on probably a bad day for them.
If you love chicken then you should not miss this place! Chicken in here is so good. I ordered their six wings dinner which is six wings served with fries. I thought I would not be able to finished all of it that is why I choose take out but I was wrong. The chicken is still hot when I ate it and it was crispy the fries are crispy too, both of it are well-seasoned, the chicken has a perfect crunch in its skin and it was tender and perfectly cooked too. It was just literally so good and I seriously cannot get enough of it. I did not know they have this kind of amazing spot like this in the area and I wish I had known it sooner. I highly recommend this place. The food is delicious, the staff is nice and friendly, service is fast and prices are reasonable!
Very very good chicken. Crispy and flavorsome skin and unbelievably juicy meat. I had the lunch special leg and breast combo and it was very good value for money. Makes you wonder why people go to places like KFC and Popeye's when there's places like this.
Nothing but good to say about the fried chicken and cod. Being from the south it's not the best I've ever had but it is damn good. Thank you for the good eats!
I always get a 4 wing chicken dinner definitely my favorite!
First time going here and it was really good! It was season inside and delicious. I got the boneless wings with fries and bread and got a lot of sauce, thank you btw. Definitely will be coming back and recommend this place!
Simply the greatest. Get the large bits—honey bbq on the side with 1/4lb shrimp, jerk sauce and red beans and rice mmmmm
