The food wasn’t the best but the customer service was amazing, not sure who I spoke to but the front of staff was so kind to my concerns. Really appreciate it
Honestly this is the blandest pasta I’ve ever eaten. I can’t speak to their other menu items but I definitely would not recommend eating their pasta. I made an online order for the build your own pasta with angel hair, alfredo, chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, and spinach…I was excited initially until I ate it. Literally THE blandest thing I’ve eaten. No salt, pepper, garlic or any other seasoning. Paid $27 dollars through Grubhub for what…never again, completely disappointed.Would’ve given them zero stars if I could. Dave’s Italian Kitchen, if y’all reading this PLEASE add some flavor to your pasta!
Food and service was fantastic!! Our group was all vegetarian and tried their garlic bread, pasta, lasagna, pizza and both their desserts. Everything was good. Loved the pasta with jalapeño and mix of Marinara and Alfredo. Rich but delicious!! Will visit again.
Kindest owner and amazing food. The menu has a ton of options and great portion sizes. I'm really happy with what I ordered.

Dave's has been my favorite restaurant in Evanston since I moved to the area in 2012. Everything is incredible.
Dave's Italian Kitchen lives! This new spot is smaller and cozier but the calzones are still great value. $12 will get you a huge one, nearly big enough for 2 people.. wish they had a better variety of fillings.

Last night we walked in and ordered Calzone, chocloate mousse, salads to go. The manager and staff were super friendly and offered us water while we waited. The food was superb and well worth the wait. Next time I visit Evanston I will make that my go to restaurant.Thanks to the manager and the staff.Dan
