The food was okay I got 2 small oxtail plates and 2 beef Pattie’s cost me $48 but when I got home the oxtails was cold the gravy they poured over my rice was thick because they served me my food cold and the beef Pattie’s were a tad bit warm I’ve had better beef Pattie’s at the Jamaican spot on Howard and honestly the gravy didn’t taste right to me all in all I don’t think I’ll be coming back that didn’t not taste like oxtails that I’ve had before from other places
First time visit. It's a store front, but the food is delicious and authentic. I had brown stew chicken, curry goat, beef patty, and plaintains. I will return if I am in the area.
We stopped by for beef patties and Ting. The service was fast and friendly and the beef patties were tasty with a little spice.
My 1st visit on Saturday I was very pleased with the service and the amount I food that I received as well as the taste it was delicious !
Claire's is hands down the best West Indian food in Chicagoland! Simple, easy with a friendly vibe, you can't go wrong picking up some delicious eats from Claire's!
Great Jamaican Cuisine, You Won't Be Disappointed?
The restaurant is too small to dine in. The service is not good. I am worried about the food safety because I saw some flies near the food and there is No A/C at all. I drove to this place for the jerk chicken and asked if I could see the menu. But they just asked me what I wanted and didn’t provide the menu. The jerk chicken seems tasty but too small. I might not stop by this place in the future.
Best chicken in Evanston! The jerk chicken meal was perfectly cooked and spiced, and the service was excellent. The chicken came right off the grill as I walked in—everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!!
I’ve tried a lot of restaurants in Evanston and I think this has to be the best chicken in Evanston. The 1/2 chicken dinner is beyond delicious and includes everything I could want. Everything is super reasonably priced as well. This is a 5-star no brainer!!!
