This place deserves a 0.Arrived to a very small line just to wait and wait because online orders came in first. When my turn arrived, I asked for the chicken protein, and I received a half empty spoon. Asked politely and I was turned down by saying that it was 4oz even though was I got served wasn't even half of that. Now comes the turn of the other condiments and I ask for corn and I'm told there is no more...okay ...I'm about to pay, 4 seconds after the last fast and they just put new corn, so I ask politely again. I get turned down, my bowl is closed so I can't. Had to suggest a side cup and who seemed the manager forced this person to serve me.Overall a very bad experience. Seems like the people at this location don't want to work and do it with a very bad attitude.I'm not coming back again to this location
Every time I order delivery from this chipotle my bowl sucks. I only got half of the things I ordered in it and for the lettuce they put three singular shreds
I wish I could rate this place a zero. I am currently sick and have been for the past 3 weeks due to chipotle. I’m most certain it’s chipotle too because the moment I ate the bowl I got a very uncomfortable feeling in my stomach and within minutes I threw up everything I ate. First off, the woman who handled my bowl used the same gloves to wipe dropped food off the counter, wipe it off her apron, and to touch more food and make peoples bowls. I understand jobs can make us stressed and we get tired after working long hours, but that’s no excuse to handle any paying costumers food that way. I have gotten sick from this location twice and the only reason why I tried giving it another chance was because of the old reports about people getting bacteria infections from their lettuce in which going forward I avoided eating their lettuce and still ended up sick. I’m very highly disappointed and concerned for the health of my stomach because of the food at this location.
I don’t know what is the problem with this location. It’s the only one that’s closest to my house and every time I go my bowl is either less than half full or completely full with only veggies and like 2 teaspoons of meat.
Ok, so I gave 5 stars because the employees are terrific and I LOVE LOVE LOVE chipotle. BUT, the real reason for this review is that I want hibiscus lemonade and they never have it. LIKE, EVER. I crave chipotle hibiscus lemonade every single day of my life and I just want some, I’ve gone to the chipotle in evanston and the one on Sheridan in Rogers park and they never have it. I get that it runs out quick, but then please make more. At this point in just want hibiscus lemonade and I don’t know what else to do.Chipotle, if you’re reading this, please restock hibiscus lemonade. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. K thx love u
On top of parking not being the greatest and me only going here because the one in Lincolnwood abruptly closed, this was not the greatest experience. I have no desire to go back. There were no black beans in the spot where they should be, although they were on a counter where workers were talking. The server did reach around to get them, but then he used the brown beans (pinto?) spoon to serve the black beans. I don't eat bacon and I didn't want that on my burrito bowl, but he did it so fast and I didn't want to waste food. Then there were crumbs all over the serving counter. Instead of wiping them toward the floor, he wiped his hand so the food remnants would fly back into the containers in no particular order. Then no one was at the register area. I stood there waiting, and then finally he said he'd ring me out since the person who was supposed to do it went somewhere else in the restaurant. It's just not enjoyable to be standing there hoping I don't get a parking ticket for such a quick order.
Now we all know typically Chipotle isn't really authentic mexican food and some might argue that it isn't at all. But when it comes to food that falls in the non authentic category, Chipotle is top teir. I want to first start with their guac alone. It's delicious. Its good for guac ive had from fast food. Although it's a little extra money, its 100% worth it. Now others might go for chicken, carnitas or even their plant based chorizo. All are worth it but personally I love steak. You can never really go wrong with it. All their rice bases are so yummy as well and of course their condiments. I know many people get their chips and personally I usually dont but usually get them but when I do I dont regret it. They are so crispy and light while being smooth enough they dont cut up your mouth and overall are nicely seasoned. The only reason a 4/5 happened is because, and im sure most of us have to deal with it, is the rapid bowel movements that happens everytime i eat it resulting in spending a couple good hours on the toilet. But with a little pepto and ginger ale, im back to regular. Overall, I love it.
Food is good, but EVERY time I order the salad, they forget the vinaigrette. Then, they take NO RESPONSIBILITY for the mistake if it is delivered by a delivery service. THEY pack the meal so, how is it Grubhub's fault, not theirs? This has happened MANY times, not just once.
It’s really disappointing that you can’t customize an order on the website. If you want a little bit of hot sauce or extra sour cream it’s impossible to indicate that. They really need to get a note system where you can put specifics in on the website.
The place offers a great range of delicious food. I love eating here. The employees are always helpful, rates are fair and the place is always clean.
