Wings were delicious, sauce had great flavor, chicken had crispy skin. Suicide wings were not hot at all but I’m a huge fan of spicy food. I would say they were mild, not at all what I expected given the name. I wasn’t a fan of the cheese fries (but I don’t like cheez whiz). Staff was friendly and quick! They are cash only, but there is an ATM inside the restaurant. Bathroom was clean as was the dining area. These were probably the best wings I’ve ever had, just needed much more heat! After looking at other reviews on here I don’t think they gave me suicide wings cause there were no jalapeños on top. Major bummer.
Every time I’m in Evanston Buffalo Joe’s is a must. Suicide wings and cheddar waffle fries are the staple and they are done so well! Cash only FYI

Best wings in Chicago! Get them suicide with buffalo chips(waffle fries) and add a side of mild sauce to dip the fries.
Best wings in the city don’t let anyone tell you different the waffle fries are also fantastic and the ranch is a must this is an Evanston staple that you have to try don’t miss out
Tryed this place for the first time about 3 weeks ago. I've been going every Friday since then. Those wings are so good, and their chili cheese fries are fire. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
Best damn wings sauce and waffle fries in Chicago. Yes I said it. So good if I move our of state and visit Chitown this is one stop always for sure!
Ive read through some of the reviews & Im convinced that some people are jus butt hurt for no reason...I DO NOT LIKE HOT WINGS BUT Ive had Buffalo Joe's like 4xs now & loved it every time..When we called in the order they were professional & let us know they only accept CASH..I was alittle sad to know that you CANT request all FLATS but in the end..The employee that gave us our food were friendly..The food was fresh & Hot..Dug right into the Mild & BBQ wings so barely got the picture of the little that was left... I will be back again & recommend them
One of my favorite places to eat...it's cash only, and always pretty busy..would definitely hope u call ahead and order check online for menu..still think it's the best wing spot in the whole city..if u can handle spice I'd say try the suicide with jalapenos.i tried a Mexican potato delicious...the wings awesome as usual..cookies are great but hard to come by because customers always order them all lol . Before the pandemic they have tvs and beer so u can dine in and have a beer! With ur wings or whatever your choice of food is!
This restaurant was excellent in customer service and the wings were great. This was our first time trying Buffalo Joe's wings, and dine in experience was great. Our table was clean and enough social distance was in place. Looking forward to eating at this place again.
