So I had the Lavender matcha drink and it tasted really nice. The place is cozy and had a good amount of snack options too. Overall a good place to hangout and chill.
Flying Squirrel beans are the best coffee you can grind at home. They're not even the tastiest that Backlot roasts, tbh, but they're the best for all coffee drinking occasions, which for me is pretty much all day every day.Tabletop is their tastiest, but it doesn't go with everything like Flying Squirrel does.

Backlot Coffee, both locations are consistently good on drip and espresso drinks. They roast locally and do a fine job too. Their baked goods could/should be seated into the excellent category and are offered in grand variety. Since I'm not much of a bread/baked goods eater we'll have to ask my teenaged son who offers 2 thumbs up and a hearty "Mmmfff Gobble Munch". Nice array of teas are also available hot or iced. Good management shines through.
This place serves fantastic coffee, treats and meals. I also am convinced that John is one of the funniest people I've ever met and needs to do open-mic stand-up sometime there as an event night. Make it happen, Backlot, the place will be packed! ??????☕
The coffee and food are always good and the staff is super friendly! Also, the gluten free donuts are delicious!
I honestly don't understand how this place is so good. Its not just the coffee. The donuts, pastries, empanadas, and sandwiches are also amazing. I really have to see their kitchen/chef/baker at some point because its too good to be true.
This is a comfortable, friendly coffeehouse with great baristas and a bakery. The staff is exceptional, and it has a real neighborhood feel. The house brew is delicious, and they're always coming up with new and innovative drinks. You're bound to run into friends and neighbors here, and I admire how they've handled things throughout the pandemic. This is the perfect sibling to Bros K, as the Kim brothers expand their coffee and culinary empire! Highly recommended.
This is such a cool place. I just got coffee and a donut and both were delicious, I think the Donuts were Do-Rite which makes great donuts. They had alot of other things I wanted to try so I will be back. Its really cute inside, the service was really fast and also very nice. Get there early if you want to sit inside, I went Monday at 10a and it was packed.
Very friendly staff. Great coffee, big food menu. Family friendly. Clean inviting atmosphere to drink your coffee and catch up with a friend
