No reason for them to bring out my husbands ramen first then my sushi dish 20 Mins later. My husband food got cold waiting for them to bring out my dish. Service lacks and food was not great. $15 sushi rolls presentation was nice but were small. The photo is my $30 Sushi meal of two rolls; Hawaiian and crunchy roll . Will never go back.
Sushi was great- especially the red dragon roll. The appetizers, not so much. Calamari was rubbery and probably could have gotten better at the jewel across the street. Ordered the shrimp tempura and mainly got fried zucchini.
It was okay... Maybe because they only had one waitress working... good lunch crowd. With that said, I asked for hot Japanese sauce which I never recieved. I was really thirsty and wanted water. Waitress never really came to out table.One waitress and maybe 7 or 8 tables and we had an hour and 15 minutes.Food was good... not very good portions though. I ordered off the lunch menu $12.00 to $16.00 per person. Took long.I had the Shrimp tempura came with white rice 2-3 good size shrimp, a few tempura veggies and a hot tea.Decor casual would make a great date night.. At night!
Went for sushi and it was very good. Lots of interesting rolls to choose from. Very good service, food quality and presentation. All good. We ordered 4 rolls and crab ragoon as an appetizer.
Great food, the wait was over 40 minutes to get the food after we ordered. Need more hands in the kitchen.
I am a regular customer here. The food is fresh and great tasting. I am however annoyed by the waitresses standing by my table waiting for my plate. I was in yesterday and she was waiting by the table for me to finish my bite to take my plate. I like to take my time eating especially when the place is empty on a Wednesday night. I was there for a little over a hour. I kid you not the waitress came like 10 times to see what was on my plate. It aggravated me. 3 plates for 2 people you can wait until I leave to pick up my plate. I always feel rushed here, even on a slow night.
Came with my SO on a Tuesday night and enjoyed some delicious sushi, great service, and some on-the-house edamame. Can't wait to come back!
This is a great find in Elmhurst. Excellent service, wonderful sushi and really nice atmosphere. Best sushi in this area for sure!
I would definitely recommend coming here. I didn’t get sushi even though it is named sushi nest but I got the tameraki steak and miso soup and it is very delicious and the atmosphere of the place is amazing. There is excellent service as well. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars in because I thought that there wasn’t enough ingredients in the miso soup but it still was good.
Service was excellent, the food was delicious! Will definitely return soon
