Moved nearby after living in the city basically my whole life. Was looking for a legit place near me to get my pizza fix. Mangia is the real deal. Easily best pizza in the area and prices are good too. Never have any issues, never a wrong order, and it's always piping hot delicious pizza.
Mangia Napoli was recommended to me by two separate people while on a work trip to Chicago. I arrived around 7:45 and was promptly seated and waited on by Lance. They had two menus a regular menu and a special menu. I ordered the special appetizer, arancini, the sausage and peppers from the regular menu. Both were amazing, incredibly fresh, and hot. I particularly loved the capers and olives in the sausage dish. For my main dish, I ordered Rigatoni Vincenzo. The pasta was al denti and the sauce was so silky and creamy. I managed to save room for dessert for which I ordered the tiramisu, it was spot on!The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was obviously made to order! All my food was amazing, but what stood out to me the most was the quality of the food I was served. These dishes did not weigh me down but filled me all the way up. While there I got to chat with some of the cook staff about their process and could tell that they are making this food with thought, intention, and love.Thank you to the Mangia Napoli staff for an amazing meal. Placed an order for a meat lovers pizza, bread sticks, chicken strips, and onion rings for a group of us out of towners. All of the food is delicious and a good amount of everything. I encourage anyone who is looking for good eats, this is the place.
Great neighborhood pizza/Italian joint. Excellent thin crust pizza and delicious wings. On Fridays they have a cod fish dinner special that is really good - make sure to get it with fries on the side for an experience identical to getting "fish and chips" overseas. I am yet to get anything from their menu that I don't like. 10/10
I absolutely loved the bartender and staff! I am from Peoria and I'm up here for work, I have never been here and I'm SO impressed with the staff and food! I got the risotto with seafood...true authentic Italian!! i love every bit of it! I can't get this in Peoria! excellent!!! Everyone made me feel so welcome! I'll be back in 2 weeks for sure!!!
