We walked Illinois prairie path and decided to look for independent cafe to try new coffee. . Very nice cozy place with approximately 10 tables. Pleasant staff serving good variety of coffees and pastries. Both were very good.
A new favorite in my new town. Just moved here a couple of months ago and I'm still finding my way around.this is a gem!
Wanted to meet up with a friend and found this place open during the day. The cafe was really well decorated and the choice selection had me looking all over the menu. I really enjoyed my coffee drink and could see myself taking a break from my house to sit and read a book here. Staff was helpful and placed seemed very clean.
For a local shop they have lots of cool drink options and lattes. Their chairs are super comfortable too
I love coffee shops. They have good brands here, and their lattes are great as well. Try a muffin. Scrumptious.
After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?)
Good espresso. Good food. Better prices. Cozy place with good service.
Just found this place a few months ago. Coffee is much better than Starbucks and costs less!!
I went to Elijah’s for the 1st time just a few months ago & it was like discovering a hidden gem in Elmhurst!It’s not on York St or Spring Rd, the roads that run through the 2 main business districts in Elmhurst, so we didn’t discover Elijah’s right away.But it’s not out of the way or hard to find. It’s on Vallette St, just off York St.There are several tables with comfy cushioned chairs outside & a roomy yet cozy family-room vibe inside. But the friendly, knowledgeable staff really make this a gem. After ordering the same coffee for 15 years, I took a chance & tried something totally different. I ordered an iced coffee latte made with oat milk & it was great! As are all of the drinks I’ve tried there. And I can’t leave there without ordering a white chocolate raspberry scone or one of their huge chocolate chip cookies.
Amazing coffee! The bakery items were so delicious we ended up ordering some more scones! Nice environment to relax, chat with friends or study/work.
